This page is about the seasonal, track-focused hypercar. For the second seasonal Bugatti, see Macaron. For the Bugatti that currently spawns near the Jewelry Store, see Eclaire. For the latter's predecessor, see Brulee.

The Beignet was a seasonal vehicle in Jailbreak. Modeled by RallySubbie,[1] it was featured as the grand prize in Season 6: Race to the Top. It currently has the seventh-highest top speed in-game.

The Beignet was obtained by reaching Level 10 through Contracts. It has a Cash Icon500,000 value in the garage (for sorting purposes). It was found at the Season Hypezone during Season 6: Race to the Top.

Overview[]

The Beignet is based on the 2020 Bugatti Bolide Concept.[2] It is a two-seater hypercar. The vehicle's appearance is notable for its cross-shaped headlights and sharp edges.

The Beignet has two customizable body colors. As the model comes with a pre-equipped spoiler, players cannot customize the spoiler.

As Season 6: Race to the Top has ended, the Beignet can now only be obtained through trading.

Performance[]

The Beignet can be described as a track focused Eclaire; it has a lesser top speed and acceleration but the launch is superior, with improved handling. This makes the Beignet one of the top-performing vehicles in the game, only beaten by the Proto-08, Power-1, Roadster, Aperture,Successor, Concept and Volt in short distances, and the Torpedo, Brulee and Javelin in long distances.

Overall, the Beignet has incredible performance and was a seasonal vehicle worth getting. With good driving skills, this car is among the fastest modes of transport. This makes it the current seventh-fastest vehicle in-game, only after the Torpedo, Brulee, Parisian, Javelin Concept and Eclaire.

Trivia[]

  • The in-game name "Beignet" originates from a French pastry.
    • This naming theme is shared by all Bugatti-based vehicles in Jailbreak, with the Eclaire, Brulee and Macaron also named after French pastries.
    • The vehicle's proposed name was "Napoleon", as RallySubbie revealed in his original Reddit submission post.[2][3]
  • For a few days after the release of Season 6, the Beignet had the same engine sound as the M12 Molten, Airtail, Ray 9, Trailblazer, and Torero.
    • This was changed to the Eclaire and Brulee's engine sound in a patch update, before players reached level 10 and unlocked the vehicle.
  • RallySubbie's Reddit post showcasing the Beignet (then-called "Napoleon") was posted months before the announcement of the Season 6: Race to the Top, with asimo3089 expressing interest in the vehicle in a comment. When asimo3089 stated that there would be no competition for the grand prize category in Season 6, it was theorized that he had chosen the Beignet to win by default.
  • The Beignet has a custom, unchangeable wing, similar to the Torpedo and M12 Molten.
  • The Beignet spawns by default with a custom secondary body color that is not in the garage.
  • The Beignet is the second-fastest seasonal vehicle, the first being the Torpedo.
    • It is also the fastest vehicle out of all the vehicle prizes in the contract system.

  • The Beignet is the first seasonal Bugatti-based vehicle, while the second is the Macaron.

  • The Beignet is the fastest seasonal vehicle, out of all the seasonal vehicles of the new season system, and the second fastest seasonal vehicle overall, only behind the Torpedo.
  • They Beignet's stock license plate is "RALLY", deriving from the creator of this vehicle - RallySubbie.
  • The Beignet is the highest-valued seasonal vehicle in the game since the debut of Contracts, with a value of Cash Icon500,000, as opposed to the typical Cash Icon100,000.
    • For more than a month after initial release, the Beam Hybrid was valued at Cash Icon500,000, until asimo3089 decided to lower it to Cash Icon100,000.
    • For a few days after release, the Volt 4X4 had a value of Cash Icon1,000,000. This is the highest cost that a seasonal vehicle has ever held, albeit temporarily.
