The Bounty Bridge is a minor location in Jailbreak, situated in the harbor between the Power Plant and Bounty Bay Airport. It serves the purpose of connecting the Bounty Bay Airport and the Jailbreak mainland.
Overview[]
The Bounty Bridge is a red-coloured, cable-stayed bridge with five pylons. It features the unique ability to lift up the two middle sections at a sharp angle, allowing large vehicles to enter the lake by the Crime Port. The bridge only lifts if a player drives a Sloop or Cruiser nearby. This also creates a fall risk if a ship passes through while another player is traveling on the bridge.
History[]
When the Map Expansion Update was released, the location of the Bounty Bridge used to have more terrain surrounding the area, and the bridge was a simple stone bridge with small slabs sticking out along the bridge guide way, similar to other bridges in-game.
As of the Oceans/Ships Update, a bay was formed between the ocean and the Beach area. The water overran the old terrain road, while the stone bridge was removed and replaced with the new Bounty Bridge. This also pushed other locations further away. The Mini Police Station was moved closer to the beach houses before it was removed, and the end of the runway at the Bounty Bay Airport was shortened.

Trivia[]
- If a vacant vehicle is left on the Bounty Bridge while it is lifting, the vehicle will clip through the bridge and remain at the same height and location as it was when the Bounty Bridge was closed. The vehicle will only fall into the water when a player enters the vehicle.
- Both the Cruiser and Sloop can open the Bounty Bridge, even though the Cruiser is small enough to drive under it.
- Oddly enough, the much larger Speed Yacht is incapable of opening the Bounty Bridge.
- During the 5th Anniversary live event the Bounty Bridge was destroyed by a meteor. After the event the graphics on it was changed.
- The Bounty Bridge is similar to the famous real-life Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, although the real-life bridge is not a drawbridge.
- The Bounty Bridge's lift mechanic is seen in real-life bridges, most notably the Tower Bridge in London.[1]
