Locations can be found anywhere in Jailbreak. They vary in size and shape. These locations have been added, removed, and revamped over the course of 5 years.

In the Map Expansion Update, the Jailbreak map was enlarged by 25%, and new locations were added, namely the Bounty Bay Airport, the building that would later become the Power Plant, the Mini Police Station (now removed), and the Canyon (which later became the now-removed Jetpack Island).

In the 3 Year Anniversary Live Update, the Jailbreak map got completely revamped, and was expanded by 50%, adding in several new locations (the Crime Port, Bounty Bridge, the Lighthouse, the Beaches).

In the 5 Year Anniversary Live Update, the Jailbreak map got expanded by another 50%, with numerous locations added (Crater City, the Crown Jewel, Crater City Airport, the now-removed Crater City Racetrack, and the Cactus Valley), and some locations revamped.
