The Crown Jewel (formerly Casino but changed due to Roblox community guidelines) is a heist in Jailbreak, located in the Crater City, added during the 5 Year Anniversary Live Update.
The robbery name has been changed from "Casino" to "Crown Jewel" due to Roblox guidelines. [1] The new robbery name has been confirmed by asimo3089 on Twitter/X. [2]
Overview

The Crown Jewel consists of 4 floors. Inside is a Nightclub featuring a foyer, couches, an ATM, and a disco floor. The Nightclub is always accessible whether or not the Crown Jewel is open for robbery, but the player can only find the code to the door when it is open. Further down the Nightclub is a keypad-restricted door, which separates the Nightclub from the robbery portion of the Crown Jewel.
Robbing the Crown Jewel
When the Crown Jewel is open, players must find a 4-digit code for the keypad. The code varies and randomly appears in different areas. Input the code into the keypad door at the end of the Crown Jewel.
Enter the elevator and press the floor button marked "SECURITY".
While avoiding the spotlights and lasers on the Security floor, hack the computers until a red screen appears which should prompt you to disable vault security. Beware that deactivating security also beings a countdown of 3 and a half minutes. If the timer ends, all players will be teleported to the entrance but they will not lose their collected money as of an unknown update, enabling them to drive to the Volcano Criminal Base. Previously players had to leave the Crown Jewel before the timer ran out. If the timer ran out the security would be reactivated robbery must be carried out, the Vault floor would be locked down and unescapable while lasers will sweep across the robbery, killing all players still inside.
Return to the elevator and press the button labelled "VAULT".
Go to one of the windows at either side and break through them. Continue through until you see a vault door, Crack the vault. Cracking the vault requires players to turn the direction of the combination lock to unlock the door every time the light on the vault changes from red to green. Repeat this process three times. Enter the vault and collect the money. There are also several smaller vaults on the room's perimeter that must be opened in the same way as the main vault door for extra cash.
Once the satisfied amount of money is collected, head back to the elevator. There are two choices for escaping: heading to the floor labelled "GROUND FLOOR" or the floor labelled "THE ROOF" (the latter requires players to parachute off). Exit the Crown Jewel and drive to the Volcano Base, where cash will be awarded.
Code Locations
All of the current locations a code can appear.
The location of the code varies, with it changing each time the heist refreshes. These range from easy to find, like behind the main counter, to difficult to find, possibly being tucked away into the corner of a room.
- Note: the code may take a while to load in.

Tips and Tricks
- When robbing with multiple other players, do not under any circumstances use public chat to announce the code for the Crown Jewel, since doing so will risk attracting attention from police, allowing them to enter the Crown Jewel and arrest the robbers. Type /t or % in the chat before the actual content of the message to access Team Chat, where only players on the same team will be able to see the message.
- Once you disable the security, you will have 3 minutes and 30 seconds before the security system reactivates, so rob the Crown Jewel as quickly as possible. Be careful, as taking damage from a laser or a camera will alert the police.
- You can take the roof for a more discreet escape, as police will less likely camp on the roof. However, the ground exit is faster for those who do not own the Mobile Garage Gamepass and must instead return to their own vehicle or the Ray 9 which spawns at the entrance.
- It is highly recommended, as with any robbery, to bring a Forcefield Launcher or Donut as healing items.
- As a police officer, a good strategy to arrest criminals robbing the Crown Jewel is to wait in the elevator and arrest unsuspecting criminals going into it.
- If a police officer is waiting in the elevator, summon the elevator to your level, fall back to a safe distance, and kill the officer within as soon as the elevator doors open.
- Try to avoid robbing this heist in a laggy/glitchy server, as the moving lasers may kill more easily due to lag.
- It is possible to rob the Crown Jewel if there is less than a minute on the timer, as for some reason if the robbery ends when you are in it you will not lose the money you collected, you will just be teleported to the entrance.
- To prevent police from entering, C4 can be used to "lock" the main Crown Jewel door through a glitch. To do this, simply throw down a stick of C4 on the wall of the revolving door (make sure its perpendicular to the wall). This will stop the door from rotating, meaning that nobody can enter the Crown Jewel.
- This was fixed in the 2024 Winter Update.

Trivia
- Although collecting the money requires players to go to the Volcano Criminal Base, it does not require them to visit the Collector.
- This is now changed in the Fall 2023 Update, forcing players to turn in their money by visiting the Collector like the Museum and Passenger Train robberies.
- This is the first robbery in the Crater City map expansion, with the second being the Mansion.
- On the "ROOF" floor, there is no orange button to call the elevator. Therefore, players cannot bypass the keypad door by entering through the roof.
- In real life, this would be a design flaw and counter-productive, as anybody who decides to go on the roof will be stuck there if the elevator goes down.
- This is one of the only Robberies & Heists to have a functional elevator in it, the other being the Mansion.
- It also shares the fact that it has a pool with the Mansion.
- In the Spring 2023 Update, the Crater City and Rising City Penthouses were added with working elevators.
- The Crater City penthouse also has a pool.
- The Vault is a close reference to The Diamond Casino Heist from GTA Online.
- Despite being a casino and nightclub, there is barely any casino equipment inside, such as a lack of slot machines and poker tables, making it only a nightclub.
- The reason, as stated by asimo3089, is due to his concerns with the Roblox TOS, even though "everybody is doing it"[3].
- However, as of the Season 11 update, there are slot machines inside the Crown Jewel lounge. These are purely for decoration and are not interactive.
- This has since been removed due to Roblox age guidelines as of October 22nd, 2024.[4]
- The reason, as stated by asimo3089, is due to his concerns with the Roblox TOS, even though "everybody is doing it"[3].
- Despite being a robbery, the lounge is still accessible even when the robbery is closed. Additionally, being in the security room after the robbery closes does not kick you from the robbery, making it a potential camping spot. This also works for the vault, although you would be swiftly killed by the lasers.
- The crown at the center of the vault room is possibly the Crown Jewel's prized possession, despite being only worth
750. - There is a known issue that causes players to fall down the elevator shaft, causing them to get stuck.
- The lasers that move around the crown changes speed based on the player's fps. If the player's fps is slow, the lasers get faster, and vise versa.
- The noise which plays when players cut open the glass in the Vault is the same as that of the Jewelry Store.
- This is also used in the Rising City Bank's Upper Management floor.
- In the 2023 Fall Update, the Crown Jewel has been classified to Robbery Group C, opening alongside the Crater City Bank with the new robbery group open system.
- The Oil Rig was soon added to Robbery Group C in the Season 20 Update.
- Previously, the Crown Jewel would kill you by sending unavoidable lasers throughout the map if the timer runs out. However, as of the Fall 2023 update, the Crown Jewel will now kick you out of the robbery instead of killing you.
- This is the only robbery currently with a rename, from the Casino to being the Crown Jewel.
