Did this thing get a makeover?

This vehicle has been remodeled, as its previous model was outdated compared to newer vehicle models.
Remodeled on: July 3rd, 2020.
Same face, different name.

The following Jailbreak vehicle has been renamed. This was likely done to avoid copyright, as prior names took directly from real-life car brands.
Former in-game name: Ferrari.

The Stallion (originally the Ferrari before Miscellaneous Update 103) is a supercar vehicle in Jailbreak. It was released in the Monster Truck Update, alongside the Steed and Monster Truck. The Stallion is widely known in the community as a rival to the La Matador due to the constant comparison of performance between the two vehicles.

Overview[]

The Stallion has gone through many changes over time, the most notable of which is when it received a complete remodel on July 3rd, 2020, as part of the 5 Days of Vehicles Update, as well as a major performance buff that made it vastly superior to its previous version.

Design[]

Current[]

The new and improved Stallion features a detailed and customizable interior, first-person driving, and a visible engine. However, its model lacks the exhaust pipes the old model had. This is a similar case to the Surus and Challenger, which were added in the same week the Stallion was revamped.

Original[]

Before the 5 Days of Vehicles Update, the Stallion used to spawn in yellow, orange, blue, and gray. It had three exhaust pipes on the rear and no interior, similar to other older cars. In general, the vehicle had less detail except for the exhaust pipes.

History[]

Upon release, the Stallion was a great vehicle. The Stallion featured better overall stats than the La Matador, making it better in terms of practicality. However, in February 2020, the La Matador was buffed, making it better in almost every way. To make matters worse, in the 5 Days of Vehicles Update, the Surus, another Lamborghini, was released. Like the La Matador, it featured better overall stats than the Stallion.

However, the Stallion's fall didn't last long. In the 5 Days of Vehicles Update, the Stallion was revamped. It received an interior along with a significant buff. It was now able to compete with the La Matador, and so it gained consideration as one of the best vehicles.

Very little has changed about it ever since, other than a name change in a miscellaneous update, where it was renamed the Stallion. This was most likely done to avoid copyright issues.

In the Return of the 5 Days of Vehicles Update, the Stallion gained its original place when the La Matador was accidentally slowed down. After conversations with players, Badimo did not return the La Matador to its former speed, but rather buffed it to be slightly faster. Due to the fall of the La Matador and the obscure stats of the Ray 9, the Stallion came to be the best-performing low-priced supercar.

In the Private Jet update, the Stallion received an unexpected buff and slight model changes, along with 2 new spawns. The Stallion now spawns at Bounty Bay Airport and Crater City Airport, alongside its existing spawn location at the Town Station. As for cosmetic changes, its grill mesh color was changed.

Performance[]

Since its revamp in July 2020, the Stallion is now a vehicle with incredible stats all-around. Its top speed is the fifth fastest out of all purchasable cars in the game, topping at 250 MPH, and its reverse speed is among the best of all supercars and hypercars, reaching 74 mph. Its launch and acceleration are quick, as well. It also has great handling capability. However, the Stallion has a low ride height. This can prove to be a problem on train tracks. Still, with raised suspension, its off-roading capability is comparable to the Eclaire with normal suspension.

Prior to that, with a cost of Cash Icon200,000, the Stallion was a lesser-performing La Matador, a vehicle half its price. Due to the La Matador's unintentional buff, the Stallion was outclassed by it in almost every way. Its launch was powerful, but weak when compared to other similar vehicles at the time. After the buff of the Surus and La Matador, both featured far better top speed, acceleration and launch than the Stallion. The JB8 was also better as it had better stats despite its similar price. The Stallion was a well-performing car, but it was overpriced and outclassed by many cheaper alternatives.

Nowadays, the Stallion is an incredible car for its price, boasting high-tier performance for a great price.

Very fast top speed, reaching 250 MPH, easily faster than low-tier supercars such as the La Matador and even beats vehicles like the Roadster. It is 1MPH faster than the Airtail, Trailblazer and Volt 4X4, but is slower than the Macaron. Reverse speed is ahead of most vehicles in Jailbreak. It is slightly superior to the Airtail at 74 mph.

The Stallion reaches 51 MPH in one second. It is slightly under the Brulee. Acceleration is great, despite taking about 30 seconds to reach its top speed. It beats the La Matador in most distances.

The Stallion has great handling ability even at high speeds. However, it has relatively low grip. Ground clearance is rather lacking. Hill-climbing ability is adequate, and it is very stable on rough terrain. However, it tends to lose a little speed when driving uphill. Still, it performs well with high suspension.

It comes to full stop in about 2.5 seconds. This is worst in any super/hypercars. Has the standard durability of 100 health and 7.5 second regeneration time.

Quite fast, beating many low-tier vehicles and even the Cybertruck and Megalodon, but coming slightly behind the JB8. It is also far slower than the La Matador. The reverse speed is between the Megalodon and JB8. However, the difference between them is too small to be of any real significance.

Immediate launch is easily faster than that of the Megalodon and JB8, giving the Stallion the upper hand in short distances. However, the La Matador easily gets away from the Stallion at short distances. Acceleration to top speed is not the best, nor the worst, taking over 15 seconds. This allows vehicles with higher top speeds to catch up to and pass the Ferrari over longer distances.

Best handling of all super/hypercars tied with the Megalodon and Roadster. It has good turning ability and stable handling overall. Ground clearance is decent when using the high suspension, and hill-climbing ability is not bad either. However, it tends to lose a little speed when climbing uphill. It is comparable to the Megalodon, JB8, and La Matador.

It comes to a full stop in about 1 second, even when at high speed. It is almost equal to the Eclaire. No info

Trivia[]

  • This car is based on the Ferrari 458 Italia.
    • The vehicle was renamed "Stallion" in the April 2021 Patch Update.
      • A "stallion" is an adult male horse, which makes it likely that this name refers to the prancing horse on the Ferrari logo.
  • The license plate on the Stallion is different from other vehicles, being "VRO OOM" instead of the regular "ABC DEF".
    • This trait is shared with the now-retired SUV and Ambulance, despite them not being supercars.
  • As of the Oceans/Ships Update, the Stallion's spawn was moved to the Train Station, as a replacement for the Dirtbike's second spawn.
  • Equipping a texture on the original model appeared to be upside down. The same can be seen on the retired Steed.
  • As of the NUKES! Update of May 2020, the Stallion became the car shown in the new GUI for the button which opens the mobile garage. Formerly, the Brulee was the icon. Even after the Stallion was redesigned, the GUI still shows the old model.
    • As of February 4th, 2022, the Premium Garage GUI now shows the Badger.
  • Its current spawn color is a nod to the most iconic color of real-life Ferrari models: red.
  • The Stallion has a different seating position for characters. This is shared with the Model 3.
  • It sometimes flips on the road when lower suspension is equipped.
    • This is because the yellow part of the road is .25 studs higher than the black part, making the Stallion and some other cars with low suspensions/lower suspensions equipped flip and roll.

Miscellaneous Trivia[]

  • The Stallion has a 5-speed transmission.
  • The Stallion is the third vehicle to be remodeled, after the UFO and Model 3.
  • The new Stallion model lacks exhaust pipes, which were present in the original model.
    • Two other vehicles in the 5 Days 5 Vehicles Update, the Surus and Challenger, also lack exhaust pipes.
  • The Stallion is 1 of 3 Ferraris in the game, the other being the Concept and the Bloxy.
