The Fiasco is a safe-exclusive vehicle in Jailbreak based on the Fiat 500. Modeled by Mr.Oof,[1] it is only available in Common Safes. Being of Ultra Rare rarity, players have a 5% chance of getting either this or the Cosmic Drift.

Overview[]

The Fiasco is a tiny city car fit for a cruise, albeit a bit cramped. It may not run a tire shop, but it is perfect for fans of vintage cars. The vehicle features functional doors.

Based on the Fiat Nuova 500, this car is one of the most iconic vehicles in the world with more than 60 years of Italian heritage to its name. It is the successor to the Fiat 500 "Topolino", which was the first car in the Fiat 500 line. The Nuova 500, despite being almost 70 years old, is still a fan favorite among vintage car enthusiasts and Italians the like with many still driven to this day. In Italy, the Nuova 500 is a popular car for tours and rental. To celebrate the 50th year anniversary in 2007, Fiat released a modernized version of the Nuova 500 which is still in production to this day.

Performance[]

The Fiasco shares very similar stats to the Mighty. It may not excel in top speed and its reverse speed sticks out like a sore thumb, but its handling and off-roading capabilities are phenomenal for a civilian vehicle. The vehicle's launch, acceleration, and braking are amazing as well, making this a nimble vehicle great for zipping around.

The chances of getting the Fiasco in Common Safes is low, however. On average, it would take a player 1 in 40 safes to open (2.5% chance), costing Cash Icon200,000. It is not recommended for new players to try their luck, and are better off purchasing other vehicles such as the Model 3 or Challenger.

Trivia[]

  • The Fiasco's proposed name on the r/JailbreakCreations subreddit was "Luigi".[2]
    • This name is a reference to Luigi, a Fiat 500 character from the Cars franchise. The name was most likely changed to avoid similarities.
  • Despite being modelled with a sunroof, the Fiasco does not possess any functionality relating to it. The only vehicles to have convertible functionality are the Jeep, Boxer, and the Longhorn.
  • Textures appear in the interior part of the Fiasco's body.
  • The Fiasco shares the same engine sound effect as the Concept and the Crown.
  • The Fiasco is spawnable outside of garages without the Pro Garage gamepass, making it one of the two safe-exclusive vehicles, along with the Laviolette, to have that ability. This is because its parent safe costs under Cash Icon100,000.
    • This feature was added as a part of the Season 18: Wild West update. Previously, spawning the vehicle outside of garages was locked to the Pro Garage gamepass.

Miscellaneous Trivia[]

  • The Fiasco is the first Fiat based vehicle to be added to Jailbreak.
  • The Fiasco is the second vehicle exclusive to safes, with the first being the Shell Classic.
    • The Model 3 is also available in the Street safe, but is not exclusive to it.
  • If obtained upon just 1 Common Safe opening, the Fiasco would be the cheapest vehicle in the game, costing the player just Cash Icon5,000.
    • This would be even cheaper than the Cash Icon9,000 Pickup, which used to hold the title since its release.
      • Theoretically, if a player reached Level 2 in the season system, which earns them a common safe, one could get the Fiasco for completely free, making it tied for the theoretically cheapest vehicle, along with the Laviolette.
