The Rising City Garage is one of the Rising City locations in Jailbreak. Like any other Garage, its function is to allow players to customize their vehicles.

Overview

The Rising City Garage is located near the Rising City Criminal Base, next to the Hospital. Its most eye-catching trait is the "GARAGE" sign above the entrance. The building has one helicopter pad on the top along with a bright yellow "Customize!" sign on its side, presumably to inform new players that they can customize their helicopters there. Below the helicopter pad, there are three garage slots for land vehicles, which players can drive into to customize their vehicles.

As of March 25, 2024, an old Model 3 can be spotted on top of the Rising City Garage every 30 minutes in real life, materializing into existence and crackling with electricity. It stays on the map for around 30 seconds before slowly fading away while still discharging electricity. This Easter Egg is likely foreshadowing for the Jailbreak Rewind Live Event, that is due to happen on April 20th 10am PST).

Appearance

Garage 4.0

Active since the 3 Year Anniversary Update on April 4th, 2020.

Version 4.0 was added on April 4, 2020, along with the new look of the Rising City. The building has been repainted and remodeled in a similar look of Garage version 2.0. and version 1.0. There are three available slots, and on the inside, only the robotic arms are left from Garage 3.0.

Garage 3.0

Removed during the 3 Year Anniversary Update. Replaced by Garage 4.0.

Version 3.0 was added during the Late 2 Year Anniversary Update, past April 20, 2019 (exactly 2 years ago since the Public BETA Release). The white on the walls was replaced with black. One of the two helipads had also been removed, leaving one in the center.

The entrances were relocated, one where all three were formerly, one on the opposite end, and one on the side facing the City Criminal Base. Players could see what other players are doing inside as the building had more glass walls. Additionally, cosmetic robot arms were added inside.

The GUI has been redesigned since this version: the first box is at the top and all boxes are red. The options are displayed as miniature 3-dimensional models of the vehicle being customized. If the player walks in the Garage without a vehicle, the garage doors will shut and they will receive options to spawn vehicles they own.

Garage 2.0

Removed on July 5th, 2019. Replaced by Garage 3.0.

Added in the Garage Update, the building was rebuilt with white walls along with yellow stripes, a yellow roof, and received two white helipads where aerial vehicles could be customized.

Instead of the interface being on the walls, the driver would receive a blue GUI with every customizable feature on the left side of the screen. Upon clicking, available options would be shown right of the box and the driver will be able to purchase items from the shop at will.

Garage 1.0

Removed on July 5th, 2017. Replaced by Garage 2.0.

The building was made out of red bricks. There were three bars each by the left wall and the right wall inside, showing customization options. There were no options to change the license plate, engine, headlight color, spoiler, etc. Passengers of the vehicle could also adjust the car's options while the vehicle owner is customizing.

Before Helicopters were given the ability to change colors and textures, there was a red Tesla on the rooftop instead of the helicopter pads.

Trivia

  • The only items that players cannot purchase in the garage are the items in the Vault Safe and limited-time customizations.
  • Players can customize and spawn cars on the helicopter pads.
    • The opposite can be done as well: Aerial vehicles can be customized in the car slots, excluding the Helicopter and Black Hawk, which do not fit in the slots.
  • Even if the player does not own the SWAT or BOSS gamepasses, they can still spawn the exclusive SWAT Van and Celestial in the Garage, but they will be unable to drive it.
  • The Garage has received the most major appearance changes of any locations in Jailbreak, alongside the Hospital.
