The Jailbreak Ban Jail is a location related to Jailbreak that was added in the March 2022 Update of March 5, 2022. It is used as a spawn place for banned players to provide an offer of purchasing the Get Out Of Jail Card, which was added on the same date.

Overview[]

The Jailbreak Ban Jail is inaccessible to regular players and can only be accessed by those banned from playing Jailbreak. It is not located in the normal Jailbreak map but separately in a private experience named Jailbreak Ban Jail, owned by Badimo, to which banned players are redirected upon attempting to join Jailbreak when banned.

Appearance[]

The Jailbreak Ban Jail consists of two floors: the upper floor is an enclosed circular room emulating the Cheater Island and its scenery, while the lower one is an upscaled version of a prison cell.

Upper Floor[]

The upper floor is an enclosed circular room emulating Cheater Island and its scenery. A grey circular blocky baseplate supporting a palm tree and a big grey cage is at the center of the room. The palm tree and cage are copied from the two of the Cheater Island, and the cage is where players spawn after being redirected.

Surrounding the grey baseplate is a baseplate colored in sky-blue, imitating the River's water surface, along with walls plastered with images of the scenery around its Jailbreak counterpart. On top of the room is a non-collidable sky-blue roof that imitates Jailbreak's skybox.

If the player steps onto the sky-blue baseplate, the entire room will fall apart, and the player will drop down to the lower floor.

Lower Floor[]

The lower floor is a prison cell, the same as its Jailbreak counterparts, except being notably increased in size. Outside the cell is a black void that leads to the upper floor again if players fall through it.

Functionality[]

Players who have been recently banned will receive a timer box stuck at the center of the screen, which counts down to the date they are offered the unban pass (estimated to be more than 15 days after the date of being banned). When the timer ends, a permanently-shown GUI box will appear at the center of the screen, showing an agreement form players must tick all of the boxes before purchasing the pass.

Timer Box[]

The timer box reads as follows:

"You have been banned from Jailbreak for your actions."

"You have one opportunity to purchase an unban..."

"Rejoin in: xx days xx hours"

Agreement Form[]

The agreement form reads as follows:

"You have been banned from Jailbreak for your actions."

"I, [username], understand that:

  • I want to spend 1,500 Robux for a one-time unban.
  • My cash in Jailbreak will be reset to $100,000 cash.
  • All of my items (including Season Prizes, and Hyperchromes), will be removed.
  • My Jailbreak account will be limited with certain features. Future game features may also be limited.
  • I could be banned again for any reason including but not limited to cheating. My next ban will be permanent.
  • I won't share my account and I understand I'll be banned if somebody else cheats on this account.
  • This is my one and only chance at becoming unbanned.

" Check all the boxes..." (If the player has not ticked all boxes in the agreement form)

" Buy 1 Get Out Of Jail Card" (If the player has ticked all boxes in the agreement form)

Trivia[]

  • The Jailbreak Ban Jail is currently the only Jailbreak location that does not exist in, and cannot be accessed through the Jailbreak map.
  • The upper floor is a reference to the original purpose of the Cheater Island.
    • Initially, the Cheater Island was used to imprison detected exploiters in the cage. Imprisoned players could not exit the cage by any means. If they managed to do so by using exploits, they would not be able to interact with the game mechanics. At a later point however, cheaters were instantly prevented from joining the game, making the cage obsolete.
