The Jeep (also known as the Military Jeep) is a vehicle added in the Prison Update on March 30th, 2019.

The Jeep's only spawn is at the Military Base, but it can spawned by using Garages, or the Mobile Garage for owners and non-owners of the Mobile Garage Gamepass. The Jeep is free, like the Cruiser, Helicopter and Camaro.

Overview

The Jeep is decently fast in comparison to other vehicles in its price range, despite its free tag. It can seat a total of four people with two in the front and two in the back. The Jeep is the first vehicle in Jailbreak with a working convertible top, the second being the Boxer.

These perks make the Jeep a more preferred vehicle by new players, being more popular than the Camaro since the Garage V2 Update, due to its overall better stats.

Performance

The Jeep is seen by many as a better alternative to the Camaro due to the former's higher acceleration and better versatility. It can compete with many paid mid-tier cars when using a Level 5 engine, making it a much more worthwhile vehicle to use.

While it is as free as the Camaro, the latter has many more natural spawn points, making the Jeep less accessible, only having one spawn point. Even so, the Jeep is a great vehicle, with high practicality for newcomers.

Trivia

  • The Jeep, like the vehicles in the Prison parking lot, cannot be easily driven out from the Military Base unless the player is a police officer because of the turrets that actively target criminals.
    • However it is one of few vehicles that can be spawned for free by any player.
  • If the player puts a spoiler on the Jeep and put the roof on, the spoiler and rooftop will clip into each other.
  • This vehicle's design was most likely based off the Ford GPW, also known as the Willys MB Jeep, a Jeep used by the United States Armed Forces during World War II, Vietnam War, and the Korean War.
  • In the teaser of the Jeep, it had a forest green body color.
