The Jet Ski is a water vehicle added in the Jet Ski & Power Plant Update. The Jet Ski spawns at three locations: behind the Crater City Bank, at the dock across from the Oil Rig and on the Oil Rig to escape the robbery. It was the first watercraft vehicle to be added to the game, and is also the third-fastest vehicle in the game despite it only costing 
50,000.
Overview
The Jet Ski is a noteworthy vehicle for setting the record as the fastest vehicle in Jailbreak at a ludicrous 488 MPH. Released during the Jet Ski and Robbery Update of June 9th, 2019, it was a popular request from the community. Many were dubious about the idea, as the Jailbreak map at the time was smaller with less bodies of water. It became a more accepted idea after the Map Expansion Update, which made its use more beneficial.
The Jet Ski is one of four aquatic vehicles, the other three being the Sloop, Speed Yacht and the Cruiser. Though rarely used, the Jet Ski is well known for its phenomenal speed and acceleration. The Jet Ski is only held back by its medium of travel - it cannot be used on land, limiting its effectiveness.
Performance
The Jet Ski is quite a powerful vehicle, being a cheap and quick watercraft that can travel across the map within seconds due to its absurd speed and acceleration. Despite having some over-steer and average braking ability, it is still quite easy to drive around with some practice. The only disappointing factors are its reverse speed and durability, both of which are the worst in the game. It is also limited to water without the use of glitches.

Trivia
- This vehicle may be based on the Kawasaki SX-R.
- Before June 9, 2019, players had to move their Jet Ski on land to customize it if they didn't have the Premium Garage gamepass.
- Now there are docks at the Crime Port where players can customize their Jet Ski.
- Though these docks are meant for water vehicles, they can be used to spawn and customize land vehicles.
- The docks have been removed in a later update, making customising it without the Premium Garage gamepass impossible.

- There used to be a glitch for the Jet Ski, where if a player drives it up the waterfall near the Mountainside Town and then drives it onto land, the Jet Ski programming will be "tricked" to think the Jet Ski is still in the water. Players will be able to travel on land at the same speed they would on water, but at the cost of worse handling. If a player falls into water again, the Jet Ski will function normally.
- This glitch can now be done by towing the Jet Ski to the pool on the Crown Jewel roof with a helicopter, drive it in the pool for few seconds, then Towing away from the pool and dropping to the ground. It still works, but at the cost of worse handling like it used to.
- In the teaser video for the Jet Ski, the song playing in the background is ’Immigrant Song' by Led Zeppelin.
- In the Oceans/Ships Live Update, the Jet Ski's handling was buffed by a significant amount.
- During a rainstorm, the Jet Ski goes ridiculously slow, being limited to 16mph.
- This was later fixed in the 2023 Winter Update.
- In a miscellaneous update, the Jet Ski replaced the Cruiser spawn point at the Bounty Island.
- This was removed in the Season 17 Update when the Bounty Island itself was removed in favour of the new Maximum Security Prison.
- A new spawn was added behind the new Crater City Bank in the Fall 2023 Update.
- A Jet Ski spawns on the roof deck of the Oil Rig, used as a getaway vehicle from the robbery.
Miscellaneous Trivia
- The Jet Ski is the fifth vehicle with only a single seat, after the Classic, Volt, ATV and Patrol, and before the Stunt, MCL36 and Tiny Toy.
- The Jet Ski is the first water vehicle to be added in Jailbreak, followed by the Cruiser, Sloop and the Speed Yacht, respectively.
- The Jet Ski is the fourth vehicle to receive a price increase, following the Cybertruck, Stunt and Eclaire.
