The M12 Molten is a now-unobtainable vehicle in Jailbreak based on the Lamborghini Vision Gran Turismo. The vehicle released in the Town Revamp Update and was available for 10 days[1] costing Cash Icon599,000. The vehicle is now only obtainable through trading.

The M12 Molten is notable for being the first-ever community-created item in Jailbreak, and was modelled by RallySubbie.[2]

Overview

The M12 Molten is designed for high performance. It features a futuristic and sleek body designed for aerodynamics, a jet-like cockpit, and a split rear wing along with space for two. Currently, the M12 Molten is the only Vision Gran Turismo car in Jailbreak.

The M12 Molten is based on the Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo. In real life, the Gran Tursimo was a way for Lamborghini designers to go above and beyond. Made specifically for the Gran Turismo series of racing games, the Vision Program is a way for car manufacturers to express their vision for their ideal performance cars. The Lamborghini VGT incorporates many design staples from the Lamborghini brand, such as signature Y and hexagonal shapes and design elements from previous cars such as the Lamborghini Marzal. The vehicle was first revealed in 2019 with a real life example, and made its debut in Gran Turismo 7 in 2022.

Performance

The M12 Molten has excellent performance stats. It has one of the highest top speeds in the game, extremely quick launch speeds, and powerful acceleration. It has excellent off-roading performance for a hypercar, being able to climb hills and fairly steep terrain with ease. It also has very good handling with turning radius of 1.54, and rarely slips at high speeds.

The M12 Molten is overall an excellent and reliable hypercar. It features amazing all-around performance, though it is not the most powerful in each individual category.

Trivia

  • The M12 Molten is the first Vision GT concept car to appear in Jailbreak.
    • It is also one of the few Vision GT cars to appear in a non-Gran Turismo game.
  • The M12 Molten was originally designed as a one seater vehicle[3].
  • The m12 Molten's license plate in the teaser reads "BY: SKYL1NE", referring to RallySubbie's alternate username on Roblox and Twitter.
  • For the 1 year anniversary of the vehicle, RallySubbie updated its design and resubmitted it to the r/JailbreakCreations subreddit[4]. This was most likely not added due to Badimo's disinterest in changing retired vehicles.

Miscellaneous trivia

  • The M12 Molten is the 3rd Lamborghini to be added in the game, after the La Matador and the Surus.
  • As seen in RallySubbie's post on the original M12 Molten, the spoiler was asymmetrical.
  • The M12 Molten current model in-game is accidentally made thinner than its supposed design, as stated by RallySubbie.[5]
  • The M12 Molten in the first concept vehicle in the game, with the second being the Concept and third being the Proto-08.
  • On the Jailbreak thumbnail, there was a "Days left" indicator to the right, which updated every day while the number of days left on the M12 Molten decreased.
