The MCL36 was the limited-time vehicle of the McLaren F1 Event, an official collaboration between the McLaren Formula One Team and Jailbreak. It is currently the eighth-fastest vehicle in-game.
The MCL36 was located at the McLaren Skyscraper in the Rising City during the McLaren F1 Event. It became unobtainable on March 11, 2022.[1]
The vehicle could be bought for 
200,000 or driven for free during the event, though players would not keep the vehicle when the event ended if they had not bought the paid version of the MCL36.
Overview
The MCL36 was added along with the McLaren F1 Event on February 11, 2022, coordinated with the official unveiling of the real-life McLaren MCL36.[2]
At the beginning of the event, asimo3089 stated McLaren had not given a final ending date yet, but stated that the event would be most likely to end around March.[3] It was revealed midway through the event that it would be ending at March 10, 2022,[4] but the date was extended to March 11, 2022,[1] a month after the event's beginning.
Appearance
The in-game model is an exact replica of its real-life counterpart, the McLaren MCL36, which was designed under the lead of James Key. asimo3089 stated that McLaren provided him the model, but as it was too high-poly, he had to remodel and re-texture the vehicle in a low-poly fashion.[5]
The MCL36's texture, rims, and tires were added along with the vehicle, but they could only be equipped on the MCL36 itself. asimo3089 stated that they could not be equipped onto other vehicles as there was not enough time to negotiate with McLaren about them prior to the event,[6] but that he would continue the negotiation.[7] The negotiation never happened, but asimo3089 stated that he was aware of a current bug that let players equip the MCL36 rims on other vehicles.[8]
The MCL36's livery contains logos of real-life brands and groups that have sponsored the real-life vehicle: Alteryx, Arrow Electronics, CNBC, Darktrace, DataRobot, Dell Technologies, DeWalt, easypost, FAI rent-a-jet, FxPro, Gulf Oil, Hilton Worldwide, ImmersiveLabs, KAUST, Mind, Pirelli, Richard Mille, Smartsheet, Splunk, Tezos, and Webex by Cisco.
Free Version
The MCL36 is the first vehicle in Jailbreak to be both purchasable and driven for free. The free version of the MCL36 was the same to the paid version in every aspect, but could not be spawned by using Garages. The only difference between the two versions was that if players had not paid for the vehicle before the event ended, they would not own it after the event concludes.
Unlike the NASCAR Free, the free version of the MCL36 was not a separate version of the paid one.
Paid Version
The paid version of the MCL36 was identical to its free counterpart, except that players got to keep it after the event ended.
Performance
The MCL36 has the tenth-highest top speed in the game. Along with that, the vehicle also has excellent launch and acceleration, and fair braking.
The MCL36 has great grip and steering response time, though the vehicle can be hard to be driven in smaller spaces due to its large size. Despite its size, the MCL36 can climb over hills and train tracks with ease.
Overall, in addition to its status as a limited-time Formula One vehicle, the MCL36 was a bargain for a price of 200,000. The vehicle's only drawback is its large size, which can be counteracted by getting used to driving it.
Since McLaren F1 Event has ended and the MCL36 is not tradeable, its performance is only relevant to owners.

Trivia
- This is the second pair of collaboration vehicles in Jailbreak, with the first ones being the NASCAR and the NASCAR Free.
- This event is the first-ever official licensed implementation of Formula One vehicles in Jailbreak, and in Roblox as a whole.
- asimo3089 said that prior to this collaboration, Formula One vehicles were banned from Roblox and that adding them to a game would lead to the game's deletion.[9] It is suspected that this rule was made to avoid serious copyright issues.
- The digital dashboard implemented on the steering wheel of the MCL36 has no texture. This deviates from the regular white or blue colours for the dashboard seen on other vehicles, such as the Beignet.
- The MCL36, NASCAR, and the NASCAR Free are the only paid vehicles in Jailbreak to be untradable due to contracts Badimo signed with NASCAR and McLaren. This was confirmed by asimo3089.[10]

- The MCL36 is the first vehicle that can be purchased or driven for free for a limited time.
- The MCL36 is the first vehicle in Jailbreak to have a real-world livery design.
- Coincidentally, in Season 6: Race to the Top, the Gulf texture, which was one of the season's top percentage rewards, looks strikingly similar to the MCL36's livery, but without the brand sponsors and having a slightly different layout.
- The MCL36 is the one of the only current vehicles in Jailbreak to be named after a real-world vehicle model, including but not limited to the Jeep, Model 3, Roadster, Cybertruck, Challenger, Black Hawk and Little Bird.
- Previously, a lot of other vehicles were named like this, but after a miscellaneous update, they were given fictional names to avoid copyright issues, like the Lamborghini having its name changed to La Matador.
- The MCL36 is the third McLaren to be added to Jailbreak, with the second being the Airtail and the first being the Megalodon, and the fourth being the Snake. All four are now off sale.
- The MCL36 is the fifth track-focused vehicle to be added to Jailbreak, after the NASCAR, NASCAR Free, Beignet, M12 Molten, and the Torpedo.
- The MCL36 is the first-ever vehicle to have a start-up sound.
- The MCL36 is considerably one of the loudest cars in Jailbreak.
- Unlike other vehicles, the MCL36 has toggleable headlights, despite the model having none.

- The MCL36 has the highest recorded speed in the game ever, going over 800+ MPH during the 2022 April Fool's Event, when all vehicles had reduced sizes, therefore reducing their weight and increasing their speed dramatically.
