The Mansion, also known as the Manor, is a Jailbreak heist that was released as part of the 2022 Winter Update. It is located within the Coastline Forest, and is owned by the CEO.

Overview

The Mansion is a gray building surrounded by a metal fence. It has an automatic gate that opens whenever a player gets close to it. Stepping inside the gate, an oval driveway can be found, which borders a fountain. The Crown spawns behind the fountain, right in front of the main building, while the Successor spawns next to the right side of the mansion. A garage is located on the left, which currently serves no purpose. A swimming pool is located behind the Mansion, next to which sits a small rockpool where the star Easter egg is located.

Inside the Mansion, a hallway of 6 sets of lasers can be seen for players to jump over, players can also crawl under them. There are paintings on the red and brown walls of the corridor, as well as a few inaccessible doors. Once you get past the lasers, a fireplace can be seen at the center. A couple more paintings decorate the room. To the left, you will find the Elevator that starts the robbery with a letter box that says "AIRDROP INVITE REQUIRED".

To enter the Mansion and, by extension, rob it, you need to obtain an item known as a Letter (or Invitation). Unlike the Rising City Bank and the Crater City Bank's keycard mechanic, all players involved need to have the Invitation in order to rob the Mansion.

Invitations are obtained by collecting Airdrops, no matter the Airdrop type. Most of the time, an Airdrop can only give a single letter, though you can still stack them in your inventory. Your amount of invitations can only be viewed in the Trading Island, though they are not tradeable.

As of the January 2023 Mini-Update, players can now keep their invitation until they beat the CEO.[1]

Robbing

The robbery opens at 6 PM in-game time, allowing a maximum of three people into the elevator. Players must wait 15 seconds after entering the elevator, where a prompt will allow them to exit the elevator if needed.

The elevator doors close after the 15 seconds are up, after which players are teleported into the Mansion's upper floor (although the place is actually under the map and built to look like the upper floor). Players must make it through a large hallway, while avoiding pop-up pressure plates on the floor, which have a slightly lighter brown colour compared to the rest of the floor. There are gaps between the rows of these pressure plates that players must walk through to advance; stepping on the pressure plates directly results in a wall of lasers appearing, taking away approximately 60% of the player's health.

There are two smaller, empty hallways flanking the main one at the front, and two rooms, one on each side, at the far end of the main hallway. The room on the right houses an Easter Egg from the Ready Player One Event in the form of a chicken suit, and a pistol players can grab in case they did not bring any weapons. The room on the left has more pressure plates and leads into a smaller room. Walking towards the door of the small room initiates the boss fight.

A cutscene will first play, in which the players question the CEO, who responds by explaining his evil plans. Once the cutscene is over, players must drain the CEO's health bar to zero by shooting at him. When shot, the CEO begins the fight by summoning three Airdrop NPCs of random types from a door on the far right, which players must defeat. The CEO has multiple attacks. Beyond summoning another NPC to attack the player, he can fire a laser at players from his palm, which follows their movement. He can alternatively extend his arm to unlimited ranges to grab and ragdoll a targeted player, who will be marked with a purple ring. Both of these attacks deal 60 damage. Finally, the CEO can also summon moving spotlights which slow down players, or moving lasers which deal 25 damage, from the ceiling.

Hidden walls in the ground, marked by a black rectangular outline, pop up to block gunshots. This happens when players shoot at the CEO and successfully hit him while standing behind one. The walls remain in place for around 10 seconds before retracting, though they will pop up again if prompted by players shooting the CEO. These can also block attacks from the CEO.

When the CEO is at 10% health, he will unleash a purple pulse of energy which heals him to 20% health and ragdolls players, though it does not damage them. Upon defeating the CEO, a short cutscene will play where the CEO escapes through the door, after which players will then earn their rewards. To leave the robbery, players must simply enter the door, walk down the flight of stairs, go through a hall of the CEO's inventions, and exit through one of three doors.

Since the January 2023 Mini-Update, police officers can now also enter and battle the CEO. However they are not allowed to use handcuffs or tasers in the robbery area.[2]

Rewards

When the boss is defeated, all players still alive are rewarded by Cash Icon13,000, which increases to Cash Icon15,600 with the VIP Gamepass.

Players will also receive a Bonus roll, where they gain exclusive rewards from the boss battle. These rewards are:

  • Escape Bot aerial vehicle
  • Hyperchrome colour. The Hyperchrome given will be a one-level upgrade of the player's highest level Hyperchrome. If all the player's Hyperchromes are at the same level, then the most prioritized hyperchrome will be upgraded.
  • The list of the prioritized hyperchrome colors are: HyperRed, HyperOrange, HyperYellow, HyperBlue, HyperGreen, HyperPink, HyperDiamond and HyperPurple.
  • TNT Furniture
  • Harpoon Spoiler
  • Electrostatic Rims
  • Meteor Magnet Spoiler

  • [CEO]: "This is not the end for me!"
  • [Player]: "Let's follow him!"

Tips and Tricks

  • Playing with other players in the Mansion is highly recommended. Multiple players can disperse the CEO's attention between them, giving players more time to think and react. More players also mean NPCs and the CEO himself can be defeated more quickly.
    • If another player is being targeted by the CEO's claw attack, close in and do as much damage to the CEO as possible.
  • Do not hug the walls when you are being targeted. If you stand right next to the well, the attack can actually go through and damage you.
  • Once in the hallway with pressure plates, go slow and stop once the pressure plates appear. If experienced, simply sprint-jump through the hallway to the room that initiates the CEO fight, as jumping on the plates once without standing on them will not activate them.
  • If the CEO is about to perform his laser or claw attack, there are several options:
    • Go behind a wall dispenser and shoot at the CEO. This will raise a wall to block his incoming attacks.
    • Alternatively, if the CEO's desk is between you and the CEO, crouch behind it. The desk will block his attacks.
    • The laser attack can simply be dodged by sprinting horizontally to the CEO, or by rolling. This does require good precision, so inexperienced players should use the first two options instead.

Items

  • Bring sufficient weapons. Most often, only a couple weapons are needed, but backup guns are highly recommended in case the CEO is about to attack, but there is no ammunition to shoot at a wall to block it.
  • Pack a Rocket Launcher or Grenades to quickly dispose of the first batch of NPCs as soon as they exit the door. Further NPCs can be defeated quickly with an automatic gun, namely a Rifle, Uzi or AK-47. Do not go close to NPCs, as they can kill players quickly up close.
  • Bring some form of healing item, such as a Forcefield Launcher or Donut. Only use the Forcefield behind a raised wall which can block the CEO's attacks. If you do bring a Forcefield Launcher, it is recommended to bring a Plasma Pistol so you can attack while shielded.

Attacking the CEO

  • The CEO has a unique game-mechanic, that being headshots. Headshots are indicated by a yellow damage number. To achieve a headshot, you need to aim at his head. Hitting the CEO in the head does double the damage.
    • Headshots do not always register. Most of the time, it's better to aim slightly above his head, as that will make the headshots significantly more consistent.
    • Go for headshots as much as possible. Aim for the CEO's forehead, where the headshot hitbox is located. Perform this with an automatic weapon (the three mentioned above), a Revolver, or a Pistol.
      • Alternatively, use a Shotgun for massive amounts of damage. Very often, shotguns cannot headshot the CEO, so fire at his chest for better accuracy. Make sure to only fire when close to the CEO for maximum damage, or the spread of the shotgun pellets will result in less damage. Do not use a shotgun to raise a wall against the CEO from afar. If the bullets do not land the wall will not raise, and the CEO will be able to hit you.
  • Always watch for overhead spotlights or overhead lasers. Make sure to stay clear of their paths.
  • If hit by the CEO's claw attack or Dark Orb, get back up immediately. At times the game will glitch and the player will be unable to move. To fix this, quickly crouch and un-crouch to restore movement. Heal immediately afterwards.

Trivia

  • On March 25 2024, a barricaded door was added next to the Meteor Magnet display. This was because the CEO was making contact with aliens inside of this room.
  • After the CEO was defeated, the Mansion would open again at 6 PM, or during the next precipitation.
    • As of the Season 20: Apocalypse update, the Mansion no longer opens at 6 PM. It only opens during the rain.
      • This change was later reversed in a miscellaneous update, with the Mansion opening only at 6 PM and not during the rain.
        • While the exact reason is unknown, a common theory is that this was done due to players abusing private server commands to open the Mansion by forcing it to rain.
  • The Duffel Bag gamepass does not let you earn twice as much in the Mansion robbery, meaning everyone gets the same cash amount, excluding VIP Gamepass owners.
  • The Mansion's bonus roll is the only one that does not reward bonus cash and rocket fuel.
  • The Mansion can be robbed only once per day, meaning if you fail, the Mansion does not open again until the nearest 6 PM.
    • The day after the Mansion was released, it was made so that the Mansion reopens to be robbed again, before its initial closing time of 4 AM reaches.
  • In Private Servers, CEO's health, and NPC guards health are increased, unlike in Public servers.
  • asimo3089 said on Twitter that eventually, Mansion will hold more players and even cops can go inside the elevator to rob it in the future, but at the cost of a more difficult heist.
    • As of the January 2023 Mini-Update, police officers can now enter and battle the CEO.
  • The Mansion can be completed whilst Solo, but it is more challenging than with a reliable team.
  • The Mansion is the highest paying robbery in-game, taking the title from the pre-nerf Cargo Ship.
  • There is a glitch where the "You can't use tasers here" message randomly pops up, sometimes even while playing as a Criminal.
  • There is a glitch where you die when jumping inside the elevator when it is moving, it has not been fixed as of the Crew Battles update and it is unknown if the elevators in the Penthouses have the same glitch.
  • On the Mansion's release, there was a cheat where criminals would use the Jetpack and fly on top of the bookshelves, targeting the CEO, where they can’t be hit.
    • This was eventually fixed by disabling Jetpacks while in the Mansion and blocking off the top of the bookshelves.
  • There was another cheat where before you started shooting you could push the CEO to the fireplace, jump onto his head and on top of the fireplace.
    • This was also fixed by blocking off this area.
  • The Mansion is the first robbery where Police can take part in.
    • While they can also earn money by taking items from the Passenger Train and dropping Cargo Ship crates, those are considered "Robbery Protections".
    • This allowed the police to get a bounty. If they leave near another police officer, the police officer would get Cash Icon2,000 bounty.
      • This has since been fixed.
  • Regardless of teams, the dialogue is always the same, with the exception of one quote that is adapted when robbing the Mansion solo.
  • The Sniper is the only Airdrop NPC to not be summoned during the boss fight.
    • This is likely because the Sniper does little damage at close range.
  • In the 2023 Fall Update, a new exit room was added with three escapes to prevent camping.
  • Due to the different robbery types and opening specifications, the Mansion, along with the Donut Shop, Gas Station and Bank Truck, are not in any of the robbery groups.
  • The Mansion is the highest paying robbery in the entire game, giving Cash Icon13,500 without the VIP Gamepass and Cash Icon16,500 with the VIP Gamepass.
