Why can I not buy this?

Same face, different name.

The following Jailbreak vehicle or robbery has been renamed. This was likely done to avoid copyright, or follow Roblox community guidelines. This was because prior names took directly from real-life car brands or were simply not allowed on Roblox due to age restrictions.
Former in-game name: Mini-Cooper.

The Mighty is a retired vehicle in Jailbreak. Added in the Mini-Cooper Update of May 20th, 2017, it could be purchased with Cash Icon25,000.

The Mighty was later retired in the Gun Skins Update of March 8th, 2020, along with the Steed and Brulee. The vehicle was temporarily obtainable as the Level 6 prize of Season 3: Looking Back.

Overview

Prior to its retirement, the Mighty used to spawn in one of the houses in the Mountainside Town. Due to its remote spawn point, alongside its rather ordinary performance at the time, the Mighty was rarely used, which is possibly what lead to its retirement.

After its retirement, trying to buy the vehicle will give a notification that reads "Vehicle is retired".

Along with the Steed and Brulee, after the retirement, the Mighty received white pinstripes going along the length of the vehicle, which could not be changed or removed, being a mark of its retirement. However, as of September 5th 2021, the pinstripes were replaced by a plaque saying "CLASSIC" on its back. However, the pinstripes returned during the October 2022 update, for an unknown reason.

The Mighty was not replaced after retirement until September 2020, when the Deja was added into the game. There were clear similarities between the two vehicles: both spawn in the Mountainside Town, both are small hatchbacks with a slightly higher focus on performance than practicality or comfort, and they are also very affordable vehicles for starter and veteran players alike. This indicated that after six months, the Mighty finally received a successor.

After the retirement, the Mighty was obtainable in the update of Season 3: Looking Back. Badimo announced that the Mighty would be the Level 6 prize in Season 3: Looking Back[1], making the Mighty the first ever unobtainable vehicle to become obtainable again. The vehicle became officially unobtainable once more as of May 30th, 2021.

Performance

The Mighty was originally a very mediocre car, but after some buffs the car has become more effective in certain areas. The car is great for dodging cops due to its great handling and excellent braking.

The Mighty received a few minor buffs since its retirement, leading it to have some excellent capabilities in certain areas. Though it may have a very mediocre top speed and reverse speed, the Mighty actually does fairly well in other areas. Two major things that stick out include its phenomenal braking speed that comes close to the Roadster, and incredible off-roading capabilities that can climb steep mountains and inclines. As of the addition of the Fiasco, similarities to the stats of these vehicles can also be seen.

Overall, the Mighty was a decent vehicle for a price of Cash Icon25,000.

The Mighty can reach a top speed of 133 MPH, which is faster than Classic and Pickup, but falls behind the Camaro, Jeep and Model 3. Comparable to the Fiasco. At 35 MPH, the reverse speed comes at a lower standpoint, beating only a few vehicles such as the Classic, Cybertruck, Model 3 and some other vehicles. Ties with the Fiasco.

With incredible launch speed, the Mighty can reach 62 MPH in just a second with a level 5 engine. The Mighty's acceleration is about the same as launch. It takes 10 seconds for the vehicle to reach top speed, which is comparable to similarly-priced cars.

Due to its small size and low top speed, the Mighty is very agile and easy to control. It's very good at taking sharp corners. It has turning radius of 1.68, similar to Snake, MCL36, Parisian, Classic and Fiasco. The Mighty's small and compact size comes in real handy for its off-roading abilities. It can clear some very steep hills and inclines and beats a large amount of vehicles in off-roading.

After a slight buff, the Mighty now has the ability to go from its top speed to a complete stop in roughly half a second. It comes close but loses to the Roadster. Even though it's a small vehicle, the Mighty has a great durability of 100 HP and a disable duration of 7.5 seconds, comparable to the XRK.

Trivia

  • The Mighty is based on a Mini Cooper S [R53].
  • The Mighty's pinstripes cannot be hidden by any means, they will overlay colors, textures, and even HyperChromes.
  • Like the Brulee, Camaro, and Helicopter, this vehicle received a model change in a later update.
  • There was a glitch where the Mini-Cooper would go extremely fast with Level 5 engine after the Customization Update. This was later patched.
  • In the announcement images of the vehicle's retirement, along with the Steed, the Mighty had a black roof, instead of what it looks like in-game.
  • When the pinstripes were first added, there was a faint white text on top of the pinstripe decal that read “RETIRED VEHICLE”.
  • The Mighty returned in Season 3: Looking Back, as a Level 6 prize, making it the only retired vehicle to ever become obtainable again after its retirement, although for a limited time.
  • Even though the Mini-Cooper was renamed to 'Mighty', when a player reached Level 6 in Season 3: Looking Back, the server chat will reference the Mighty as "the OG Mini".
  • The Mighty has had the most visual changes to any Jailbreak vehicle.
    • In the beginning, it had pinstripes and a white roof. The first change was making the roof the same color as the car. Next, the pinstripes were removed. Then, different "retired" pinstripes were added. These pinstripes were again removed during the Return of the 5 days of Vehicles update in 2021. Over a year later, its original pinstripes came back, with a somewhat increased opacity, during the Season 12 Update. In total, it has had 6 variations, 7 if you count the blade rim depth from the Fall 2021 Update.
  • The Mini is the first vehicle to come back from unobtainability, the second being the Dune Buggy.

Miscellaneous Trivia

  • The Mighty is the first British vehicle to be added to Jailbreak.
  • The Mighty has a 6-speed transmission.
  • The Mighty is the first hatchback in Jailbreak, the second being the Mighty's successor, the Deja.
