The Military Base (also commonly referred to as Area 51) is a location in Jailbreak. Added in the Military Update, the base was previously found in the Desert/Dunes, but was relocated to Cactus Valley, next to Crater City in the 5 Days of Vehicle Event 2022 update.
Overview
Police officers can randomly spawn at this location, and criminals who are equipped with Police Attire and a keycard could enter this location previously.
This place has 8 vehicle spawns in the interior: The Jet, Helicopter, UFO, Escape Bot, Black Hawk, Jeep, Tank and the Sentinel. Before its relocation, the Desert Crawler spawned outside of the Military Base.
In the teaser video for the Tomb robbery, many players noticed the Military Base was not in its original position, speculating that the Military Base was going to be removed. However, this was not the case, because it was being moved to a new location, previously closer to the Rising City. It was revamped, with the addition of a second spawn location for the Black Hawk, and automated turrets to shoot intruders. The likely reason why it got moved and revamped is to prevent police from reaching the robbery quickly, and that the current Military Base was well over 2 years old.
In the 5 Days of Vehicles Event 2022, the Military Base was relocated to Cactus Valley.
Appearance
The new Military Base is a bit more different than the old one. The forcefield shield, which could be considered as a security way to keep criminals out, has been removed, and replaced by 2 turrets that fire at criminals who come within their firing range.
Vehicles also changed locations. On the front left side, The Black Hawk and Jeep spawns in front of the barracks while the Helicopter spawns near the level 4 police base entrance. The Sentinel and Escape bot spawn inside this while the Jet is located at the end of the military base close to the casino

The original Military Base was composed of three barracks and one runway, surrounded by an alien force field, three watchtowers, and a fence. The Force Field Generator is a large purple dome with a floating purple orb on top and is located between the empty hangar and the War Room - if punched enough, it will deactivate the surrounding force field for a short amount of seconds. The base is inspired by Area 51 with a similar design.
The only escape route for an arrested prisoner, without outside help, was to punch the purple orb, assumed to be alien technology, which breaks the forcefield for around 12 seconds. The orb when punched makes the same sound as which of the electrical box in Prison. Players can easily hijack a helicopter, fly it to the orb, punch the orb, and then fly off the base.

| War Room Barrack | The War Room Barrack has two rooms, the first having two of the decals on the walls of the gun shops; the second containing a decal of the minimap of Jailbreak on a table, the police and SWAT attire with the same menu as the Gun Shops. |
| Most Wanted Barrack | The Most Wanted Barrack, otherwise referred to as the Military Prison, was the spawn area for criminals who were arrested and had a  2000+ bounty. The barrack consisted of a basement and a ground floor. Police were allowed to camp this area to their heart's content since prisoners turn into criminals as soon as they escape the barrack. For criminals, the only way to escape was to punch the crystal then escape through the towers or helicopter. In the 2020 Live Update, the Most Wanted Barrack was destroyed by a shard of an older version of a building in the Rising City during the tornado event.

| Missile Silo | Added one week before the April 2020 Live Update, the Missile Silo used to be nothing but a closed entrance. It was slightly tweaked throughout later updates, being bigger and deeper. In the April 2020 Live Update, its entrance was opened. asimo3089, badcc, and an unknown policeman were seen inside after the April 2020 Live Event. At the center of the wall is a red nuclear missile launch button and a spot to place Uranium to launch a Nuke. The floor on the Missile Silo opens up and a Nuke spawns in the middle when the red button is pushed. |
| Garage | The Garage, formerly known as the Hollow Barrack, was added during the Tomb update. Similar to garages in the Mountainside Town and Rising City, player can spawn any owned vehicles that they want, with non-mobile garage owners having a longer cooldown period, which is approximately 4 minutes. |

This location, like the Criminal Lair and Secret Agent Base, has an Escape Bot spawn, a Hologram Map and a Security Camera. Another purpose of this is the Nuke silo where players can launch only for one Nuke. A Sentinel also spawn here

Trivia
- Before the Tomb update, despite the Black Hawk being a military vehicle, the vehicle did not spawn there.
- However, it now spawns here in the revamped Military Base.
- In the Tomb Update, the Military Base was revamped and moved closer to Rising City to prevent police from spawning near the Tomb. It features a new helipad, anti-aircraft guns, a garage for spawning vehicles, and a larger UFO exit.
- The now-retired SUV used to spawn here but was removed in the Prison Update due to the Military Jeep being added as a free ride out of the Military Base.
- The War Room was originally going to be called the General Room.
- The Base contains two Police spawns: one in the War Room, another in the empty barracks; and 3 Prisoner spawns, located in the 3 cells in the Most Wanted barrack.
- When the Military Base first released, the text on the runway said "COMING SOON".
- This base houses the one of 2 1M vehicles that does not spawn at the 1M Dealership, the Jet. In June 2021, a Black Hawk spawn was added.
- This location was involved in the April 2020 Live Event.
- As of the Nukes Update, the Most Wanted Prison was removed and replaced by the new Island Prison and later the Maximum Security Prison. One cactus is added near the Top Secret Research Barracks. Grass and green patches is removed from the Military Base. The font was also changed and the text went from full capitalization to just the first letter.
- In the July 2020 Update, the Top Secret Research Barrack was revamped and made bigger to make space for the revamped UFO. However, it is still a little difficult to move the UFO out of the barrack.
- Before the July 2020 update the text in the missile silo, the text next to the activate nuke button said you needed level 50.
- However it has been fixed to say level 10.
- In the 5 Days of Vehicles Update, the Military Base was relocated to the Cactus Valley, south of the Crater City.
- In the Winter 2022 Update, the Military Base received a new police base found underneath for Level 4+ players.
