The NASCAR Event was an official collaboration between Badimo and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) in Jailbreak, previously running for ten days from November 5th, 2021 to November 14th, 2021.

On March 10th through 19th of 2023, as part of NASCAR's 75th anniversary, the collaboration between NASCAR and Jailbreak returned.

Overview

2023

The NASCAR Event returned celebrating NASCAR's 75th anniversary. The event included the new NASCAR 75 vehicle featured a custom engine startup and wide-body design. A quest to keep the vehicle could've been completed by driving the vehicle from the NASCAR Skyscraper to the limited-time NASCAR Racetrack previously located in the Desert/Dunes. Cosmetic items could've been purchased from the garage while official NASCAR x Jailbreak merchandise could've been purchased at the NASCAR Skyscraper, or the Roblox store under the Badimo group.

As part of the NASCAR Update, a limited NASCAR hauler skin for the new Semi vehicle could've been obtained via quest by entering the portal at the NASCAR Racetrack where it teleported you to NASCAR Speed Hub, a game made by NASCAR. The objective of the quest was to complete 4 laps, then return to the Jailbreak world using the portal inside the game to obtain the skin.

2021

The NASCAR Event featured two limited-time NASCAR vehicles which spawned in the NASCAR Skyscrapper, a limited-time NASCAR Racetrack in the Desert/Dunes, and an array of limited NASCAR-themed Roblox avatar items that could be bought with Robux. When the event ended on November 14th, 2021, previously-purchasable items went off-sale, while the NASCAR Building, NASCAR Racetrack, and NASCAR vehicle spawnpoints were removed from the game.

Before the event, Badimo hosted a skin contest for the two NASCAR vehicles, which lasted from October 23rd, 2021 to November 2nd, 2021. There were five winners, all of whom won 500 USD, and the top two got their skins in the game. The three runner-up finalists were later given a shoutout and concept of their skins in-game, but their skins were not officially added.

The free variant (named NASCAR Free in-game), given automatically to all players that joined Jailbreak during the event. Performance is close to that of the Camaro, albeit with faster acceleration. Its livery was designed by Hurricane_48.	Costing 100,000, the paid NASCAR features a higher top speed than its free counterpart, and can beat supercars such as La Matador and Torero. Its livery was designed by door979hungry.	Featuring a wide-body design and neon numbers that match headlights, this vehicle is part of the NASCAR x Jailbreak collaboration celebrating NASCARs' 75th anniversary. A quest could be completed to keep the vehicle forever.

Trivia

• All the hats of the NASCAR merchandise costed 50, as asimo3089 stated that UGC head accessories could only be sold at the cheapest price of 50, and could not be sold for free.
• asimo3089 had leaked a model of a racing helmet in one of his tweets, but never specified its usage. It is later shown that the model is the same as the models of the helmets in the NASCAR Event.
  • Considering that the tweet was made on July 21st, 2021, the collaboration between NASCAR and Jailbreak must have been planned since before so.
• The clothing merchandise of the NASCAR Event were made by Anareloux.
• Famous McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris played the 2021 NASCAR Event live on Twitch.
