The Police HQ was a location in Jailbreak that was added in the July 2021 Mid-Season Update. It was a common police spawn place located in the Rising City and the official headquarters of the Police team. It was destroyed in the Jailbreak Attacked Update of May 29, 2023 and completely removed in the 2023 Prison Update of June 2, 2023.
Overview[]
Police officers had an 80% chance of spawning inside the Police HQ rather than at other spawns. The HQ featured an armory, as well as a Garage for spawning and customizing vehicles. It also featured a spawn location of the Little Bird and Helicopter on the roof if players would rather use an aerial vehicle. Players also had access to an Interrogator when they exited the garage and a Camaro at the back of the building.
It was located very close to two Jailbreak heist locations: the Rising City Bank and the Jewelry Store. In fact, the Jewelry Store was within walking distance away from the Police HQ when exiting from the back door. Players would have found the Police HQ when driving from the Prison on the main highway to the City. They had to pass two intersections before seeing the HQ on their right. Coming from Rising City Police Station to the Rising City, players would have seen the Police HQ on their left.
Before the building was added, there was a construction site for the unfinished building, this was thought to be a robbery, but it wound up being the Police HQ.
On May 29, 2023, the Police HQ was destroyed and made inaccessible. Only the Interrogator and Camaro remained outside the building. It was confirmed that the HQ would be removed in the June 2023 update.

On May 29, 2023, the Police HQ was destroyed. According to a tweet from Badimo here, the Police HQ was attacked "from what witnesses called a flying robot head" like the Escape Bot. Including more info such as "the building is beyond repair and we are looking for a new home" hinting that the Police HQ would be removed.
During the destruction each day something changed:
- Monday: The Building collapsed and elevator was broken. Both the Helicopter spawns were temporarily removed.
- Tuesday: The building crumbled towards the ground a little more.
- Wednesday: The exploded and damaged escape bot which attacked the Police HQ was removed.
- Thursday: The building crumbled more and the front doors were removed.
- Friday: Nothing was changed but as it was the update day the HQ was removed.

- The creation of the Police HQ was the result of a document created by Badimo, in an effort to balance Jailbreak's gameplay between police officers and criminals. A suggestion in the document was to add a common police spawn point, somewhere in the middle of the map, allowing police officers to reach criminals faster and easier. The Police HQ fulfills the suggestion, being a spawn point for police in the middle of the city, allowing police to grab every weapon in the game, and spawning any vehicle they own on-site.
- There was a 80% chance of police spawning in the Police HQ.
- Before the Police HQ was added, a construction site was located on the base of the HQ. Many speculated the construction site could become a future robbery, but ended up being the main building for Police HQ.
- Though criminals normally needed a keycard to access the Little Bird and Helicopter on the roof, they could climb up the crane behind the HQ and parachute down. The could also climb up the Rising City Bank ladder and parachute there then but this made no sense as there is a little bird spawn on the bank roof.
- Logically, the Helicopter won't be able to fit on the helipad of the Police HQ because the helipad was too small.
