The Jailbreak Wiki is part of the Roblox Interwiki Project, which connects our staff members with those of other Roblox game wikis, thus some blocks may be issued on Jailbreak Wiki due to actions they made on other wikis. These are only issued if the actions relate to this wiki and/or its topic (bypassing), or are a threat (e.g. planning to raid this wiki).
The Wiki Guidelines are a guide for Wiki users to get to know the rules, guidelines, and punishments. All active users of the Jailbreak Wiki should read this before participating in its activities.
The Wiki Guidelines are also a guide for the Jailbreak Wiki Staff Team whenever a user breaks a rule in the Jailbreak Wiki. They will determine the punishment given depending on the severity of an offense.
The Discussion Guidelines are the same as the Wiki Guidelines and apply under the same rules in regards to warns and blocks. To view them click Here or click the button shown in the picture shown to the right.
Punishment system
If a user has violated the Wiki Guidelines, they will be issued certain punishments according to the severity of the offense committed, as well as other factors if seen fit, according to the punishment system below.
Punishment | Description |
---|---|
Reminders | Reminders should only be given for the first violation of an Unlawful Act or discussions guideline. Its purpose is to notify and change a user's behavior to follow the Wiki Guidelines. For example, if a user is begging for a user rights role, it qualifies as a reminder. Reminders are optional. If it deems fit, a staff member can give a warning immediately without the need for reminders. Reminders should only be issued if the user's actions appear to be in good faith. |
Warnings | Warnings should be given for the first offence of a Serious Act, or offences of an Unlawful Act or discussions guidelines despite the user receiving a reminder. For example, if a user is bullying/harassing another user, it qualifies as a warning. |
Second warnings | Second Warnings shall be issued if a warning has been issued but a user continues to commit offences of an Unlawful Act or Serious Act or discussions guidelines. For example, if a user continues to bully/harass another user despite having received a warning already, it qualifies as a second warning. |
Final warnings | Final warnings should be issued if a warning and a second warning have been issued, but the user still continues to break rules of Unlawful Acts or Serious Acts or discussions guidelines. For example, if a user continues to discuss political/sensitive topics despite having received two warnings already, it qualifies as a final warning. However, if the user's violations have been deemed too severe for a second warning, but not enough for a block, a final warning can be given without the need for previous warnings, by a staff member's discretion. Users who break a rule once more after the final warning will be blocked. |
Blocks | Blocks are given for repeated offenses of an discussions guideline, Unlawful Act or Serious Act, and offenses of a Severe Act. Blocks prevent users from performing any activity on the wiki. The durations of blocks are varied depending on the severity of the offense, the utmost being permanent. In case of repeated offenses by a user, the block shall be longer than what is stated on the broken rule. If multiple rules are broken, block times can be combined. Block durations will be multiplied if the user continues to break rules despite having been blocked before. If the user continues to break rules despite previous blocks, they will receive a permanent block. |
Appeals & reports
- This section is only for issues related to the Jailbreak Wiki.
If a user believes their account has received an unjustified punishment from a Jailbreak Wiki Staff member, they can appeal to lessen or revert the punishment.
Methods of appealing
The list below shows the methods of which a user can use to appeal their punishments. If the user fails to appeal by either one of these methods, they are encouraged to try another way. Any appeals not using the methods shown will not be accepted.
Fandom
Users are recommended and encouraged to send their appeal in two places:
- The message wall of the staff member who warned them.
- The message wall of any of the Wiki administrators (If a moderator warned them.)
Discord
- The user can also join the Jailbreak Wiki Discord Server.
- Here they can directly contact the staff member who warned them via direct message or by mentioning them in a channel.
- If they decide to do it through a direct message, they must also contact an admin.
- This is so admins can assist moderators as well as to make sure they do not get ignored or not seen due to the member not checking discord.
- All staff member's Discord accounts are also linked in Staff:Wiki Staff Team.
Fandom
- Users are recommended and encouraged to go to Community Central and leave a message on the Message Wall of the staff member who blocked them.
- They may also mention the staff member in a discussions post so they can be notified and can choose to go to the message wall or not.
- If it is clear that you are using Community Central to sneak around a block, the block may be extended,
- Appealing through the use of an alternate account is not recommended, as it would be seen as an act of ban evading.
Discord
- The user can join the Jailbreak Wiki Discord Server, from where they can directly contact the staff member who blocked them by direct message or by mentioning them in a channel.
- All staff member's Discord accounts are also linked in Staff:Wiki Staff Team.
How should an appeal look like?
An appeal should should state:
- The user's fandom username (in case of the user appealing via Discord)
- The reason for the block or warning,
- Their reasonings to why they believe the punishment is unjust, and proof to back up their reasonings if there is any.
The user must also remain civil while not breaking any rules during the process of appealing.
Any appeals that fail to meet these criteria will not be accepted.
Notes
- If the user has received a global block on Fandom, contact Fandom Staff instead.
- If the user has received a ban on Jailbreak, they cannot appeal. Badimo does not handle appeals in game, but if you are banned for exploiting, you can buy a 1 time unban pass for 1500.
- We are not affiliated with Jailbreak or Badimo! This means we can't help you with in-game problems.
- Bureaucrats and administrators may reject an appeal if the punishment given to the user is valid. They may also overturn a moderation that they deem to be unjust.
If a user is not part of the Jailbreak Wiki Staff Team and they have seen another user breaking one of the rules stated on the Wiki Guidelines, they can make a report to notify staff.
Methods of reporting
The list below shows the methods by which a user can report the misbehaviour of another user.
Any false reports will not be accepted, and the owner of said reports will be given suitable punishments.
Fandom
The user can:
- Leave a message on the staff members' message walls or
- Click the three dots on the post, reply, or comment that violates our guidelines, and click Report. This notifies all staff members and allows us to view it and take the necessary action against the misbehaving user.
Discord
The user can join the Jailbreak Wiki Discord Server, where they can:
- Contact a staff member via direct message or
- Mention them in the channels #General or #wiki-discussions to notify staff about a user's misbehaviour.
How should a report look like?
A report should show the offender's Fandom username, the offence they have made, and proof of said offence (screenshots, links, etc).
Notes
- Any false wiki report will result in a warning for the report sender.
- If the user has committed extreme violations of Fandom's Terms of Use, you can contact fandom staff to report them by following this link, and clicking Contact Us. This allows fandom staff to view the evidence and apply a global block to the user.
Guidelines
- For guidelines made specifically for the Discussions, please check the left side-bar of the Discussions.
User Conduct
The User Conduct is a series of guidelines about behaviors of members of the Jailbreak Wiki. It is used as a guide for maintaining harmony and balance within the community. Users who participate in the community must follow these guidelines.
Offenses & punishments
- This list mainly focuses on the user's general behavior on the Jailbreak Wiki. For a list specified on the user's editing behavior, refer to the Manual of Style.
A detailed list of offenses along with punishments associated with them. Bureaucrats and administrators can give harsher punishments depending on the severity of the offense.
If a staff member determines something a user did to be worthy of punishment, but the act is not recorded as an offense in the rules, they reserve the right to remind (without any punishment) the user committing the act to stop, and only warn them afterward if they continue to disobey the reminder.
More rules can be added to the list to the agreement of the Jailbreak Wiki Team. Acts not in the rules but deemed an offense will likely be put into this page as a rule to prevent further breaches of it. Users who committed an offense before their implementation to the list will be reminded instead.
Unlawful Act
Users who break a rule in this type of category will receive consecutive reminders and/or warnings before a block can be issued. Repeating offenders will receive a longer block duration.
Offense | Description |
---|---|
Advertising | Promoting one's group, YouTube channel, account, game, etc. to gain members or followers. |
Begging for a Jailbreak Wiki Staff role | Begging to be a Jailbreak Wiki Staff member to troll, annoy others or want a role. To properly receive a user rights role, please refer to the Wiki Staff Application page. |
Creating/posting diss tracks | Creating or posting a lyric-based diss on a user/influencer. These often cause drama and arguments and should be avoided. |
Drama-related content | Posting any drama-related content (posts, comments, images, etc.) concerning real-life (scandals, politics, controversial topics, etc.) or concerning the Jailbreak Wiki (past raiders, blocks, etc.) may draw unwanted debates and arguments, as well as possibly offend some users. The Jailbreak Wiki is a drama-free community for users to freely research information and relax, not a place to argue. We advise against jokes that touch upon the above-mentioned content as well, for the same reasons as the above. |
False reporting | Reporting a user/thread for no apparent reason and/or without conclusive evidence. |
Flooding | Sending a message to unnecessarily expand the comment section. It is typically done by posting large walls of text or inserting an excessive amount of space. |
Mass Pinging | Mass pinging is defined as pinging more than 6 users in a single post. This is warnable by Fandom and you may not mass ping on any post. The only exceptions are for stories and people who are directly affected by the post. For stories you must have a users permission to ping them or they must be a character in your story. |
Minimodding | Non-staff users acting as if in authority to punish others, whether by threatening to block, messaging users warnings, etc., are considered mini-mods. This can lead to drama and arguments, and acting as a false authority is generally looked down upon. If one does encounter a rulebreaker, report them to a real staff member instead of attempting to do their job for them. |
Necroposting | The act of replying to a comment, post, or blog older that has not been replied to for 1 month. By doing so, users who were involved in the thread will receive unwanted notifications. The only case where this can be excused is if the owner of said thread has granted exceptions.
|
Pointless posts/Posts without a topic | The act of making pointless posts, which means that they have no topic and do not contribute to the discussions. These commonly include posts speaking gibberish, or posts with only a single random word or number as the title and nothing else. |
Removing warnings and/or reminders from staff | Users may not remove any warnings and/or reminders posted on any of their user pages. They serve as a reference for further punishment if violations continue to occur. Deleting a warning/reminder also conveys that the user does not respect the Wiki Guidelines and/or wants to keep a clean record. Still, it can be easily recovered via the user's deleted contributions. |
Spamming | Excessive repetition of a letter, word, or sentence in one or multiple messages. |
Speaking in another language other than English | The Jailbreak Wiki is an English-speaking community. Using another language prevents other users from understanding the context and makes it harder for staff members to moderate. If a user wishes to communicate with another non-English native user, please do so on their message wall, or on other social platforms, or provide a correct translation alongside. |
Swearing | The use of uncensored swear words. Make sure to censor a part of the word by replacing it with asterisks, hashtags, etc and make sure the symbols used do not appear similar to the letters in the actual word that you are censoring.. Acronyms such as "wtf", "lmao", etc. are allowed. Also words "damn", "dammit", "frick/fricking" and "crap" are permitted. |
W/F/L discussion posts | The act of making "Win/Fair/Lose" posts asking for people's opinions about trades. These kinds of posts flood the Discussions, making the experience less enjoyable for other users. They also take a long time to gather answers, while most of the posters expect quick answers. "W/L/F" posts are more suitable for the Jailbreak Wiki Discord Server or the Official Jailbreak Discord Server, which guarantees faster replying time. Posts that ask for opinions about trades without the "W/F/L" part are also banned. |
Severe Act
Users who break a rule in this type of category may be blocked instantly and without warning, which could be up to a week or a month depending on the severity of the act. Warnings may be given.

Discussions on illegitimate ways of obtaining Jailbreak items | The only legitimate ways of obtaining Jailbreak items are by using in-game cash, doing contracts, or via trading. Any ways other than the aforementioned are against Roblox's Terms of Use and discouraged by Badimo and the Jailbreak Wiki staff The wiki forbids discussions on:
We also do not permit discussions on duping or how to dupe. |
1+ month |
Encouraging Jailbreak Cheats | The act of sending a link to a script for Jailbreak, advertising or encouraging using Jailbreak exploits or talking about using exploits in Jailbreak. These are against Roblox's terms of use and will get you banned from Jailbreak. | 1-3 months |
Scamming | Attempting to trick users into giving up sensitive information, giving away money, etc., with the false promise of a reward, such as "free Robux". While intentionally scamming in trading is disapproved, the wiki will not enforce a rule against it due to having no way of confirming if a scam has happened. |
1+ month |
Spam upvoting Discussion posts | The act of upvoting many Discussion posts at one time. This leaves a surge of notifications for the original posters and may annoy them. Intentionally doing so will guarantee a permanent block. |

Serious Act
Users who break a rule on this type of category will be permanently or temporarily blocked immediately and have a chance of being reported to the Fandom Staff for a global block. No warnings are needed.
Offense | Description | Duration of block |
---|---|---|
Inappropriate username, profile picture, or profile information | Blocked until the user changes it to fit the Jailbreak Wiki's rules. It is deemed inappropriate by the discretion of an admin. Visit Special:UserRenameTool to change your username. Note that it can only be changed once. | Temporary |
Underage | Due to Fandom's Terms of Use and the implementation of COPPA, users under the age of 13 may not create a Fandom account. If one lives in California or the European Union (excluding the UK), the age requirement is 16. Sufficient evidence includes:
|
Until the user turns 13/16 (13/16 years if user does not provide when they will turn 13/16) |
Impersonation | Creating an account whose username and behavior are made to impersonate staff/YouTubers or any other user to troll and ruin reputation. | Permanent |
Malicious off-site links | Posting an offsite link whose content contains potentially harmful content, such as an IP grabber, a virus download, or scams. | Permanent |
NSFW media | Posting or adding media to pages and discussions that contain non-user-friendly content, such as pornography, intense gore, or other explicit content. | Permanent |
Sockpuppeting | A sockpuppet is an alternate account that causes disruption and issues on a wiki. They are typically used to evade a block or chat ban, assist the main account as a fake supporter, cause conflict and argument, etc. | Permanent |

Manual of Style
The Manual of Style is a series of guidelines about editing and contributing to the Jailbreak Wiki. It is used as a guide for new contributors/editors, but older contributors/editors may also review this guide as a refresher.
Tutorial
- This section is to help editors of the Jailbreak Wiki understand the basic grounds of editing and adding content.
The Tutorial is used as a guide for editors new to the contributing work and to give them a better understanding of editing and adding content. For a more cohensive guide, users can look up articles about editing on the Community Central.

Visual Editor & Source Editor
- Visual Editor: Suitable for editors new to the process of editing. It is commonly used to edit simple text, adding media and infoboxes easily, and simulate how the page will look like to readers if the edit is saved. However, it is not suitable for simplifying the page's source (e.g. unneeded blank spaces) or for more advanced edit purposes (e.g. collapsible tables).
- Source Editor: Used by more experienced editors. It is commonly used for the same purposes that the Visual Editor serves, but users can perform more complex actions (e.g. adding templates, changing text coloring). However, it is harder to understand for inexperienced editors due to its complexity.
Editing
- To edit a page, click the Edit button on the top right of the page or the pencil icon to the right of a heading.
- Users must be a member of the Jailbreak Wiki for 4 days before they can edit. Some pages are restricted so that only staff members can edit them. Pages may be locked due to mass editing or vandalism.
- When finished editing a page, press the "Save" button on the bottom-right corner of the screen to save the edit.
- Addtionally, users have an option to add a description of their edit, follow the page (get notifications for whenever the page is edited), or mark it as a minor edit (this edit will not appear in the page's History and will not count as an edit on your edits count).
- If an edit needs to be canceled, press the "Cancel" button next to the "Save" button.
- If the user gets a warning for session hijacking (meaning that another editor save an edit while the user is editing), they can pass the changes they have made to the newest revision.
- If a page is locked and the user wants to perform actions on the page, contact a staff member about it.
Creating new pages
- Users can create a new page by hovering over the 3 dots icon at the top-right corner of a page and click on the Add new page option.
- Users should only create a new page if it is necessary (e.g. a new feature is added and nobody has made a page about it yet).
- Do not create pages of things about useless or common features (e.g. minor locations, simple Roblox features such as grass, road, etc.) or a duplicate of an already-existing page. Doing so will result in a warning.
- When creating a new page, remember to add an Overview, Infobox, Gallery, and Trivia section, respectively.
- Do not add an unneeded section to a page, unless absolutely necessary.
- If one of these cannot be completed, type "Add information here." in place of the section.
- When finished creating a page, save the edit and add necessary categories.
Adding categories
- Editors can easily add a category by clicking on the "Add category" button in the Category section at the bottom of a page. They can then add a new category or an already existing one.
- In Source Editor, players can add categories (e.g. the Locations category) by inserting [[Category:Locations]] to the page.
Adding images
- To add an image, go to Special:Upload and upload your desired file.
- Alternatively, users can do so by hovering over the 3 dots icon at the top-right corner of a page and click on the Upload New File option.
- To add the aforementioned image to a page, switch to Source Editor and paste the file name into the page. Images can be added via these ways:
[[File:ThisIsAnExampleImage.png|This is a caption.]]
<gallery> GalleryImage1.png|A gallery shows multiple images in a section, unlike the other one. GalleryImage2.png|Very fancy indeed. GalleryImage3.png|Agreed. </gallery>
- To quickly add an image while editing a page, click the prompt that displays a painting icon.
Adding videos
- Click here for a detailed step-by-step tutorial on adding videos to pages.
Citing information
- Citing information increases the correctness of a certain statement/info on a page by using reliable sources. Editors can cite information by doing:
Roblox has lots of experiences to play.<ref>https://www.roblox.com/discover#/</ref> Players can buy things to customize their avatar.<ref>https://www.roblox.com/catalog</ref> badcc has a Twitter account.<ref name="badcc's Twitter">https://twitter.com/badccvoid</ref> badcc's real name is Alex Balfanz.<ref name="badcc's Twitter"/> (to cite a link that has been previous used for citing) ... {{Refer}} (where shows all the links of the cited information)
- Template:Refer (the wiki's template to show cited information) should be located at the very bottom of the page, but above navigation boxes and Categories.
Adding templates
- Templates are made to make it easier to implement special features to a page and make the page more compact. Each template carries a separate section of codings. If a user wants to add a template to a page (e.g. Template:Language), they will need to add {{Language}} to the place they wish to. This can only be done by using Source Editor.
- More complex templates, such as Template:Vehicle Infobox2, requires users to add additional information into it. They can go to the template's destination or take examples from other pages using it.
- If users want to perform actions on a template, notify staff first, as this will affect pages that use the template.
Edit history & undoing edits
- When on a page, users can click the slide-down tab next to the Edit button. There will be an option to view the history of the page.
- To view a user's edit on said page, press the "diff" link and it will show the user's edit alongside the edit before that.
- If a user is adding unnecessary information or is vandalizing a page, users can press "undo" next to the user's edit in the History section. Users will be taken to a page where will let them explain the reason of undoing it. Changing the description is optional.
- If another user persistently makes edits that the user have to undo, contact a Jailbreak Wiki Staff member.
Editing style
- This section is to help editors of the Jailbreak Wiki understand how to establish a consistent experience between different wiki pages.
The Editing style is used as a guide for editors to maintain a coherent style throughout the wiki. By following these rules, editors of the Jailbreak Wiki will help to provide clear and informational pages to the readers.
|
---|
Wording & grammar
- Use American English when editing. For example, use "donut" instead of "doughnut".
- When editing pages, use proper grammar and avoid making grammar mistakes.
- Do not use slangs (e.g. "u, ur, chopper, crims, cop, campers, jew") and other words similar to these.
- Do not use contractions. For example, use "it is" instead of "it's".
- Do not use exclamation points. They are used to exclaim something, and are not to be used often in informative articles.
- Do not create run-on sentences. Once the editor is finished with one claim in a sentence, create another sentence.
- If adding information regarding the game, make sure it is true and not a conspiracy or assumption. Never insert information about the editor themselves or their experiences.
- Do not exaggerate a fact, since it is unnecessary and gives a personal view (e.g. "Jailbreak is a very popular game.")
- Most of the gameplay is influenced by player choice. However, do not make generalizations or assumptions about players (e.g. saying that police will camp at a certain spot, or criminals are more likely to rob a location), because they are not relevant to the game's general information.
- When using pronouns, use gender-neutral and third-pronouns (they/them/their).
- When referring to the readers, refer to them in the third-person (e.g. "users" or "players").
- Additionally, refer to any player as just a player (e.g. "players", "criminals"), and not the editor's personal view of them.
- Do not unnecessarily bold, italicize, or capitalize words to exaggerate them.
- Users can bold the word that is the page's name located first at the first part of a section.
- For example, bold the first "Roadster" word in the Overview section of the Roadster page and the first "Roadster" word in the Performance section. The Trivia section is the only exception to this.
- Users can italicize words that form the name of a certain update or event. For example, italicize the Season 5: Let The Memes Begin! as this is a name of a season event.
- Additionally, users can italicize names related to the content of the page (e.g asimo3089, Badimo, RallySubbie).
- Users can bold the word that is the page's name located first at the first part of a section.
Images & videos style
- Images and videos must not have any of the user GUIs visible (e.g. cursor, robbery markers), display other players, the editor themselves, or anything unnecessary unless required.
- For pages that must have a player's avatar visible, said avatar must wear default clothing, have a gray skin tone, and have no hair, custom body parts, or accessories equipped.
- Images and videos that break the User Conduct will be deleted on sight by the Staff Team, and the person who added them will be warned or blocked, depending on how severe/inappropriate the media was.
- Separate images and videos posted may wrap text, like the one to the right.
- Images and videos added to a page should have an acceptable dimension and pixel-quality. The higher-quality an image or video is, the better.
- For infobox images, the setting should be in the daytime, as it would be easier to see its content.
- For vehicle infobox images specifically, the image should only contain the vehicle and a transparent background.
- Jailbreak-related images and videos for pages must be set in max graphics settings and preset in default graphics settings.
Usage of headings
- Every pages should have an Overview, Infobox, Gallery, and Trivia section, respectively.
- For separate pages, other sections can be added (such as Update history, Robbing the [robbery location]) as long as they are essential to the page.
- Do not add an unneeded section to a page.
- There should be a sectionless paragraph to introduce the subject of the page. It should be place in front of and not be included in the Overview section. The reason is so that the subject's introduction would be placed before the Page Content box, and that readers will have a better idea of the subject of the page they are reading.
Categories
- Players should only add categories that are necessary and important (e.g. Vehicles, Weapons). Avoid adding unneeded categories (e.g. Vehicles with interior, British vehicles).
- Categories should be arranged logically. For example, the category Vehicles should be placed in front of the category Land vehicles.
Citing information style
- Information should only be cited at certain statements that are not apparent at first and need clarification (e.g. "the M12 Molten is thinner than it is supposed to be", "asimo3089 lives in Arizona"). Obvious statements (e.g. "The Jeep is free") do not need citing information.
- Information for citing should only come from these sources below:
- Tweets/Discord messages from Badimo/asimo3089/badcc.
- Tweets/Discord messages from Jailbreak community creators relating only to their creations.
- Any information allowed to be used by Wiki Administrators/Bureaucrats (for this, editors should personally contact them first for permission).
- Always cite information after punctuations.
- Additionally, if the statement is in a sentence that contains different statements, cite behind the last word that is related to that statement.
Usage of templates
Page notices
Page notices are located on the top of pages. A page can have multiple page notices.
- Template:GPExclusive - For features only usable by purchasing gamepasses.
- Template:Outdated - For pages with outdated content.
- Template:Remodeled - For remodeled vehicles.
- Template:Removed - For content removed from Jailbreak.
- Template:Renamed - For vehicles that were renamed.
- Template:Stub - For unfinished pages.
- Template:Unobtainable - For vehicles that are unobtainable, whether that be seasonal or retired.
- Template:Unobtainable Soon - For vehicles that will become unobtainable in the near future.
- Template:Upcoming Content - For content that will be added to Jailbreak in the near future.
Infoboxes
Infoboxes are located on the top of pages and after page notices.
- Template:Location Template - For location pages.
- Template:Infobox Robbery Template Collapsable - For robbery pages.
- Template:Vehicle Infobox2 - For vehicle pages.
- Template:WI Infobox - For pages about weapons and items.
Navigation boxes are located at the bottom of pages and in front of Template:Language.
- Template:LocationNavbox - For location pages.
- Template:RobberyNavbox - For robbery pages.
- Template:VehicleNavbox - For vehicle pages.
- Template:W/I Navbox - For pages about weapons and items.
Miscellaneous
- Template:Cash - Put at the front of a price tag using in-game money.
- Template:Language - Put at the very bottom of every pages.
- Template:Robux - Put at the front of a price tag using Robux.
- Template:Refer - To show cited information. Put it at the very bottom of the pages, before navigation boxes.
- Template:Update history & Template:Update list - Used for pages that have their content having been changed many times throughout several updates. Put these before the Trivia section.
Others
- Only link a certain page once per article. For example, if the editor were to link the Cargo Train in a page, make sure that it is the only Cargo Train link on that page.
- If the editor gets into a disagreement with someone else's edit, contact a staff member.

Offenses & punishments
- This list mainly focuses on the user's editing behavior on the Jailbreak Wiki. For a list specified on the user's general behavior, refer to the User Conduct.
A detailed list of offenses along with punishments associated with them. Bureaucrats and administrators can give harsher punishments depending on the severity of the offense.
More rules can be added to the list to the agreement of the Jailbreak Wiki Team. Users who committed an offense before their implementation to the list will be reminded instead.
Unlawful Act
Users who break a rule in this type of category will receive consecutive reminders and/or warnings before a block can be issued. Repeating offenders will receive a longer block duration.
Offense | Description |
---|---|
Adding incorrect/unconfirmed information | The act of adding information without reliable sources or incorrect information, which will mislead and confuse readers. |
Adding useless categories | Adding unneeded categories onto a page. Doing so will also be seen as edit farming. |
Constant replacement of images & videos | Do not replace perfectly fine images that meet the basic image requirements with your own. That is considered an extension of edit-farming and is not allowed for the same reasons as edit farming. Only replace images if they are outdated or do not meet the standard requirements. |
Creating "Criticism" & "Pros and cons" sections | Our goal on the Jailbreak Wiki is to upkeep a neutral point of view, not to showcased biased views. These sections tend to either drive players away from something or to criticize Badimo. If one has negative thoughts on something, it is better to keep it in a blog post or comment instead of in the official article. |
Edit farming | The act of repetitively adding/changing minor things (e.g. deleting and then re-adding content, re-wording passages etc.) to a page in forms of different edits for the sole purpose of receiving badges and/or increasing edit count. If the editor is adding multiple things, do so on a single edit. If the editor noticed a mistake on one of their edits, they are free to correct it in a new edit, but do not do these so-said "corrections" excessively. |
Edit war | An edit war usually starts when two or more editors disagree with the others' edits and continuously reverting the other's edits, causing a dispute of information and significant increases in the editors' edits. Editors should directly contact the others or contact a staff member to settle the disagreement. |
Making a useless page | The act of creating an unneeded and purposeless page. A page falls into this category if its content does not need a separate page dedicated to it (such as opinions about a vehicle), or if the page contains a subject that has been already covered in another existing page. |
Overwriting another user's images and/or videos | The act of directly replacing another user's images and/or videos on their files with the editor's. This may cause certain disruptions to where it is used. It is recommended to make a new file instead of replacing another user's files. |
Personalizing images & videos on articles | Adding photos containing one's personal Roblox character onto wiki pages. Make sure all photos with players in them have default clothing and colors. This rule does not apply to user pages. |

Users who break a rule in this type of category may be blocked instantly and without warning, which could be up to a week or a month depending on the severity of the act. Warnings may be given.
