The Prison Bus is a vehicle added in the July 2023 Update. Costing Cash Icon150,000, and spawning at the Prison, on the lane that leads to the Security Office. The Prison Bus includes 15 seats which is the most out of any vehicle.

Overview

The Prison Bus is the first bus in the game. It is a long vehicle with a seating capacity of 15, the highest within the game. Prisoners and criminals need to hijack the Prison Bus, just like any other vehicle that spawns within that confinement, with the exception of the Patrol. Pressing "G" will toggle its front door to open or close.

Performance

Being a bus with heft, it is unsurprising that the Prison Bus has nothing exceptional in its performance. Its moderately high top speed takes a long time to reach, and braking can be a hassle to some players. However, its reverse speed is above the average, and can offroad surprisingly well for its size.

Still, the Prison Bus is more preferable for fun role-playing and live-streaming experiences than to be something with commendable performance, as its main selling points are its unique look and high seating capacity instead.

The Prison Bus has a top speed of 175 MPH, which is ahead of the Cybertruck and Jackrabbit, but falls behind the Shell Classic and Delorean. It can reverse up to 72 MPH, tied with the Sentinel. However, it takes a few seconds to reach it, unlike most vehicles in the game.

It can reach around 27 MPH in a second, which is expected of a vehicle with heft. Comparable to the Goliath and Semi. Acceleration is remarkably low, which is unsurprising with such a big vehicle. It takes quite some time to speed up, and Rocket Fuel is usually needed to be able to reach its top speed when driving normally. It's still a step up from vehicles like the Firetruck, Goliath, Bank Truck and Sentinel.

3s
The Prison Bus is long in size, and while it can still turn fine in most circumstances, players might find themselves struggling to turn in some areas, or even stuck between buildings in Rising City, Crater City and Mountainside Town. The distance between the Prison Bus' front and rear wheels make it struggle to climb mountains and steep slopes, but it has no trouble roaming the desert dunes, cross train tracks and even up some hills when at higher speeds and on normal suspension.

4s
Takes around 4 seconds to come to a full stop, which is behind most vehicles in the game but still ahead of the Semi and Firetruck. The Prison Bus has 150 health and a 7.5 second regeneration time. This is the 4th best of any vehicle along with the Ambulance, SWAT Van and Monster Truck.
