Unofficial Name

The following name for this page has not been known to be provided by the developers. Ship will be used as a placeholder of such.

For the million-dollar vehicle, see Sloop.
For the robbable ship, see Cargo Ship.

Overview[]

The Ship was an undriveable vehicle added to Jailbreak in the Visitors & Ship Update, which was placed to tease a new upcoming update in the form of a box. It was docked at Cheater Island, near the docks of the Rising City. It was a large, wooden, pirate-themed vessel, with a cream-colored sail positioned onto a tall mast. On the deck was a small cardboard box, which had the Jailbreak logo on its top. This box would later be revealed to contain the Sword.

The Ship only served as a teaser for an update. As Badimo stated in a tweet, the ship would "drop off" a new item sometime in the future. On August 27, 2019, as the update neared, the ship left the box on Cheater Island and began sailing away.

In the Melee Weapon Update, the Ship was removed from the game, leaving the then-new Sword on the island.

Trivia[]

  • This ship is a smaller version of a galleon or a pirate ship.
  • There was a small Jailbreak logo box on its deck, hinting at the release of a new item (later confirmed to be the Sword).
  • This ship resembles the Sloop, a drivable boat added in the Oceans/Ships Update.
    • However, there are some notable differences. For example, the mast faces forward on the Ship, while on the Sloop, it is sideways. The Sloop features a crew quarter, which cannot be entered. The Ship also uses older textures.
  • This was the first non-driveable boat to be added to the game. The second is the shipwreck at the Bounty Island, and the third being the Cargo Ship.
