The Tanker is a community-created vehicle added to Jailbreak as part of the Season 24: Winter Rally update. Modeled by beesbuzz38217.[1], this vehicle come with an interesting feature that causes it to explode.
Overview[]
This behemoth of a vehicle is quite powerful but not in the ways one expects. It is a ticking time bomb to unsuspecting players utter demise. Once this vehicle's health reaches zero, it explodes dealing damage and ragdolling all players around it that are within its blast radius, which is quite large. While also propelling them away based on how close they are to the explosion. This detonation even affects those inside vehicles. A delayed explosion can also be triggered with a hotkey set with this vehicle with the same results. Overall, it is a great vehicle for trolling and clearing out hordes of enemies, albeit not so great for use in every day gameplay due to it's behavior, it being a big target, and it's gimmick of exploding when being shot at enough times.
Performance[]
The performance is about what you would expect from a vehicle of this size, with poor braking and launch. However, it makes up for that with a large amount of durability and surprisingly fast top speed. When compared to other trucks like the Semi and the Cybertruck, the Tanker is the faster option while having a smaller price tag.
Overall this is not a recommended starter vehicle, but is still has a good bang for it's buck.

| From 180 MPH, it takes about 5 seconds to come to a full stop with level 3 brakes. About the same as Semi, but beaten by Prison Bus and Firetruck. | The Tanker has 150 health which is a very good amount compared to other vehicles of the same price. It has the same health but is not limited to the SWAT Van and Monster Truck. The only downside is when it loses all its health, it explodes dealing roughly half-health and will ragdoll any nearby players. After exploding, it's health does not regenerate, instead, it despawns after about 8 seconds. |

Trivia[]
- For a short while after its release, the Tanker was abused extensively in the Trading Island, being detonated and killing players non-stop.
- This was found to be fun by most of the community. However, this resulted in the Tanker's removal from the Trading Island a few days after release.
- This is the first and only vehicle to be added to have this explosive feature.
- The Tanker's explosion can still ragdoll players behind walls. Some people use this to troll people in the Jewelry Store or the Museum, sometimes killing them and ending the robbery early.
- It is possible to tow and drop the tanker using a helicopter as a method of trolling/attacking large groups of players on both teams, though it is not recommended as the player will need two accounts.
Miscellaneous Trivia[]
- This is the tenth truck to be added to the game, after the Pickup, Monster Truck, Firetruck, Raptor, Cybertruck, Bank Truck, Sentinel, Tow Truck and Semi.
