The Mountainside Town Garage (original) was one of the Garage buildings in Jailbreak. Added on July 29th, 2017, it was located in the Mountainside Town near the previous location of 1M Dealership. The garage had gotten many redesigns in later updates, such as in the 2019 Garage Update and the Town Revamp Update. It was eventually removed in the 5 Year Anniversary Live Update of April 2nd, 2022.
Overview
The Mountainside Town Garage (original) was closely similar to the Mountainside Town Garage 2. The building was relatively small, having only two vehicle slots. There were also no helipads, meaning players cannot customize aerial vehicles here. They can still put aerial vehicles in the building and it still allows them to customize the vehicle.
In the Garage Update of May 5th, 2019, the Mountainside Town Garage (original) was updated with new features and better improvements. In the 2020 Volcano Eruption Update, it was revamped again as part of the Town's revamp.
In the 5 Year Anniversary Live Update, the Mountainside Town Garage (original) was removed. It is speculated that the garage was removed to reduce lag and the performance impacted from the expanded map.

Trivia
- The reason the original Town Garage was added was because many criminals were using the Rising City Garage, which was always packed and/or being guarded by police. After their addition, the police would always put Road Spikes near the garage door so that when the person inside finishes and opens the garage door up they will get spiked and then arrested.
- Its vehicle slots could fit a Helicopter, a UFO, a Blade, and a Little Bird inside. A Black Hawk could also fit here, however, it would be very difficult to get it out.
- On August 18th, 2018, its doors were made wider and higher so it could fit the SWAT Van and Celestial, which were mounted with miniguns inside.
- A part of the terrain used to go through its floor when it was first released.
- Like the current current Town Garage, it had a large Model 3 model on top, which was a nod to the original version of the Rising City Garage.
