The Train Tunnels are tunnels that the Cargo Train and Passenger Train can pass through. There are 6 Train Tunnels in total, 2 of which the Cargo Train and Passenger Train can spawn or despawn at (Tunnels 3 and 6).
Tunnels
Overview
Train Tunnel 1 is a minor location in Jailbreak near the edge of the map, near the Train Station. Previously the Cargo Train enters and the Passenger Train exits the map from this location.
Though this location seems to have low traffic, it was very common to find Police and Criminals waiting for the Cargo Train to come. This was a common occurrence, due to the fact that if you stand on top of the tunnel's ledge, you would had the guaranteed maximum amount of time to rob the Cargo Train. This location had became popular ever since Cargo trains received longer lengths, and especially when they became less glitchy.
This tunnel became unused after the April 2022 Live event when the train track got expanded to exit near the Volcano base. It still existed for a wile after this and the code which teleported you back to the Train Station still worked until an unknown update when it was completely removed.
Trivia
- In the months leading up to the Winter Update 2017, a colored version of the Train resided in this tunnel, sparking lots of speculation about whether or not trains would be coming to the game. Months later, they did.
- After the addition of the Cargo Train, the Train model in the tunnel was removed.
- The Cargo Train horn used to be heard through this tunnel before it enters the map.
Overview
Train Tunnel 2 is a small location in Jailbreak, located next to the Rising City. This is the second tunnel after Train Tunnel 1. After this tunnel the Cargo Train continues to Train Tunnel 3, where it despawns and respawns again at Train Tunnel 1, and the Passenger Train moves in the opposite direction. At the other end of the tunnel is the Rising City Criminal Base.
As of the Train Patch Update, it's common to find criminals jumping out of the train after robbing it, however this was patched in the Passenger Train Update. Sometimes, a player may encounter Police waiting at the end of this tunnel or near the criminal base to arrest them.

Overview
Train Tunnel 3 is a small location in Jailbreak, located next to the Gas Station and Mini Train Station. This is the point where the Cargo Train de-spawns after exiting the map and the Passenger Train enters the map. This tunnel has also been recognized as being significantly smaller than the others.
Trivia
- This location has been here since the start of Jailbreak.
- This location has never been previously put to use until the Cargo Train was added.
- After the Train Patch Update, Cargo Trains have become longer.
- This means that not everyone will be teleported to the Mini Train Station when the Cargo Train arrives at Train Tunnel 3, only players at or near the tunnel will be teleported.
- Of course, players on the Cargo Train will be teleported off (or will physically get off on their own) by the time the Cargo Train despawns.
- This means that not everyone will be teleported to the Mini Train Station when the Cargo Train arrives at Train Tunnel 3, only players at or near the tunnel will be teleported.
- In previous updates, you could glitch through this location using a Helicopter. There was nothing past this, however, rendering glitching through this location pointless. However, sometimes the Cargo Train can trap you in part of it, and then a second train could push you through the wall.
Overview
Train Tunnel 4 is near the Museum where the Passenger Train passes by to complete its journey from Train Tunnel 3 to Train Tunnel 6 (unless a Train Switch near Train Tunnel 2 is pulled). The Cargo Train passes through this tunnel if it stops at the Train Station, which can be triggered via the Train Switch near Train Tunnel 1.
Trivia
- This is the latest tunnel added in the game, Train Tunnels 1, 2 and 3 have existed longer than the Train and have been around since the Public BETA release of Jailbreak.
- According to asimo3089's tweet on Twitter, the mesh for Train Tunnel 4 was designed in a 3D computer graphics software called "Blender", to allow the tunnel to only use 50 pieces, rather than 250. He also stated that he is replacing all the other train tunnels in the game.
- Initially, only the Passenger Train would pass through this train tunnel, however as of the City/Guns Update, both trains can pass through this tunnel, which can be triggered via Train Switches.
Overview
Train Tunnel 5 is near the Volcano Criminal Base and is one of the newest tunnels in which a train passes through. This is the last tunnel before Train Tunnel 6 where the Cargo Train enters and the Passenger Train exits. This tunnel was added in the April 2022 Live Event and originally was the exit point of the Passenger Train and the entry point of the Cargo Train until the train tracks got extended through the Crater City map expansion in the Season 11 Update.
Overview
Train Tunnel 6 is next to the Crater City Gun Shop and serves as the spawn point for the Cargo Train and the exit point for the Passenger Train. This location was added in the April 2022 Live Event and players soon realized that the tracks lined up perfectly with the train tracks which at the time ended at Train Tunnel 5. Due to this, many players pushed asimo3089 to expand the train tracks and they got expanded through Crater City in the Season 11 Update when both trains received revamps.Gallery
