Media needed: Engine sound of the Venom.

The Venom is a safe-exclusive vehicle in Jailbreak. Modeled by plasmazilla and phindr, it is only available in Crime Safes. [1] Being of legendary rarity, players only have a 4% chance of getting it.

Overview[]

The Venom is inspired by the third-generation Dodge Viper ACR, a hardcore American sports car made for track use. Between its legendary naturally aspirated 8.4L V10 engine, permanent aero modifications, and stripped-out build for weight savings, the Venom is obsessive in its pursuit of performance.

With a distinctive three-color paint job and extreme aero kit, the Venom is striking in its exterior design. The low-slung hood containing the engine bay stretches past the front wheels of the car, surrounded by a sizeable front splitter and canards. Two side sections of the car form an air channel from the front wheel well that exit at the rear, where a large rear wing and diffuser are installed. The interior of the Venom also boasts a highly detailed three-color setup; Owners are able to change the colors of the Venom's interior trimming, seat cushions, and interior accent lighting.

Performance[]

The Venom has very good stats for a safe exclusive car. With excellent top speed, great acceleration, and decent off roading, it is a good all-purpose vehicle. It should also be noted that this vehicle has one of the best handling in the game, able to make most tight turns. It has similar stats to the Hammerhead, another safe exclusive vehicle.

Overall, the Venom has good performance and is very much worth the cash spend if players manage to get this in the first few safes they open.

Trivia[]

  • The Venom was originally a grand prize submission for Season 22: Made in America.[2]
    • This makes the Venom the second vehicle to have been submitted as a grand prize, but been repurposed as a safe-exclusive vehicle in a safe revamp, after the Hammerhead.
  • The Venom was originally submitted with the name "Venom V10",[2] however, it has only been shown with the name "Venom" as of the announcement tweet.[1]
    • It is unclear if this was intentional, nor whether this is a change of name that will apply to the game when it is added as well.
      • If intentional, this would be the second time a vehicle has had an identifier removed from its proposed name, after the Parisian.
  • The Venom's default license plate reads "V8 EATR”. This is a reference to the oil company Pennzoil commercial, “The Last Viper”, in which a speed camera would capture the license plate of the Dodge Viper ACR presented in the commercial.
  • With a 4% chance to get it in safes and the new pity system added, players would have to spend roughly 1,875,000 on crime safes (which are 75,000 each) to guarantee getting the Venom.

Miscellaneous Trivia[]

  • The Venom is the fifth vehicle to be obtained through Safes, with the sixth being the Manta, the fourth being the Hammerhead, third being the Laviolette, second being the Fiasco, and the first being the Shell Classic.
    • The Model 3 is also available in the "Street" safe, but is not exclusive to it.
  • The Venom is the second vehicle to feature a reactive exhaust. When shifting gears (accelerating or decelerating), the exhaust emits effects similar to Carbonara. The first vehicle with this feature was the Carbonara.
