Why can I not buy this?

The content featured on this page is no longer obtainable in Jailbreak. It is now exclusive content that can only be obtained through trading, and it is unable to be purchased by non-owners.
Became unobtainable on: May 30, 2021.

This page is about the seasonal vehicle. For the non-seasonal speed bike that costs Cash Icon1,000,000, see Volt.

The Volt 4x4 is a seasonal vehicle. It was the grand prize for Season 3: Looking Back in Jailbreak.

Like all newer seasonal vehicles, the Volt 4x4 was free to redeem at level 10; the Cash Icon100,000 "value" is only in place so that it can be sorted in the Garage menu (which is ordered by price). It could have also been obtained for GoldenRobux499 between May 25th, 2021 and May 30th, 2021.

Overview[]

The Volt 4x4 appears as a futuristic Volt-styled off-roader, with four massive wheels, a giant rear wing, and dual trails that emit from the rear wheels when driving. The vehicle is as long as the Arachnid, but nearly twice as wide[1], making it the widest land vehicle in Jailbreak.

Performance[]

The Volt 4x4 boasts impressive performance statistics, especially when off-roading. The vehicle can traverse tough terrain with ease and climb up steep hills quickly due to its powerful launch speed. It is more capable and stable than other off-roaders, such as the Raptor, Cybertruck, and even the Monster Truck.

In addition to this, the Volt 4x4 is pretty fast, beating out all of the aforementioned trucks, the Arachnid, Airtail, Roadster, Volt, and the Stallion at its true top speed. A disadvantage of the Volt 4x4 is that it has slow braking.

Overall, the Volt 4x4 is a very unique and well-performing seasonal vehicle, with various capabilities that other cars cannot offer. It is also a good vehicle for police, like the Arachnid, with great off-roading abilities and roadblock potential.

Trivia[]

  • The Volt 4x4 appears to be loosely based on the Light Runner from TRON.
  • It has a unique default license plate, which reads "VOLT4x4".
  • As stated by asimo3089, the Volt 4x4 is the same length as the Arachnid, but is fifty-percent wider. This makes it the largest land vehicle in the game.
  • The Volt 4x4's original value was Cash Icon1,000,000, but it was lowered in a miscellaneous update to Cash Icon100,000 to match the past two seasonal vehicles: the Beam Hybrid and Crew Capsule.
  • In a patch update shortly after the release of Season 3: Looking Back, Garages were given wider entrances to one of spaces, specifically to accommodate the large Volt 4x4.
    • One of the three slots was removed to make space for the widening.
  • The Volt 4x4 could have been bought for Robux between May 25, 2021 and May 30, 2021, along with the Mighty.
  • The spoiler/wing of the Volt 4x4 is the same as the Air Wing, another season prize from the same season.
  • The Volt 4x4 is the only vehicle with customizable rims but not customizable tires, given that the tires are custom made.
  • Similarly to its bike counterpart, the black body color can only be changed by using textures.

Miscellaneous trivia[]

  • The Volt 4x4 is the sixth vehicle to use the electric motor sound, after the Model 3, Volt, Roadster and Cybertruck, and before Icebreaker, Desert Crawler and the Proto-08.
    • It is the first electric vehicle to have multiple gears. This can be heard by listening closely while driving to hear it shifting through its five-speed transmission.
  • The Volt 4x4 is the second vehicle in Jailbreak to be based on a vehicle from TRON, after the Volt, which is based on the Light Cycle.
  • Though the revamped Volt includes a new trail effect, it is unlikely the Volt 4x4 will gain the new trail effect, as it is unobtainable.
